Incremental Advancement of Salary. Teachers who are entitled to an incremental step in the salary scale in Schedule 1 shall progress to the next higher incremental step after 12 months of full-time service. Part-time teachers will be entitled to the next higher incremental step of the scale after 12 months equivalent full-time teaching experienced wherever gained. A full-time year of teaching service for casual teachers is deemed to be 200 full casual days in Australian schools Schedule 3 - Positions of Additional Responsibility (PAR) for Teachers 1 Positions of Additional Responsibility Teaching Positions of Additional Responsibility (PAR) to carry out specific duties or responsibilities shall be established by the Principal for the efficient operation of the School. To establish the classification level of the PAR, the Principal shall consider the importance of the following factors: Levels of direction and supervision given to the PAR Knowledge, skill and experience required of the PAR Accountability and responsibilities given to the PAR Communication and influence the PAR will be expected to exercise Extent of delegated authority to and decision making expected of the PAR The classification of the PAR in the School shall be recognised by the graduation of responsibilities which apply within the School by the assignment of specific number of leadership points. This assignment of leadership points shall be at the discretion of the Principal. Teachers appointed to a PAR will be paid a monetary allowance and time allowance in accordance with assignment of leadership points in addition to their substantive salary and workload.

  • Salary Step Advancement No period of unpaid leave shall be counted toward time served for purposes of salary step advancement. Completion of at least 75% of the assigned work year for the employee in a paid status is a prerequisite to salary advancement.

  • Salary Schedule Advancement The base salaries in each cluster within a step may be increased through COLA, turnover savings, increments, and additional educational attainment. Once placed in a cluster within a step, faculty do not move from cluster to cluster except as described in B.3.B below.

  • Contract Duration and Annual Salary 1. The College hereby employs the Administrator in the capacity of Director of Adult Educational Development, Assistant Professor for one year, commencing on July 1, 2023 and terminating on June 30, 2024.   • Salary Increments The Employer, may grant an increment for meritorious service after an employee has served for a period of twelve (12) months following the first day of the month established in Article 35.07 or twelve (12) months following the date of a change in his rate of compensation as established in Articles 35.04, 35.05, or 35.06.

  • General Salary Increase 1. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to September 1, 2013, employees shall be provided an across-the-board salary increase of one percent (1%). Salary schedules shall be increased accordingly.

  • Submission of Salary Increases Recommendations for salary increases must be made to be effective on the first day of the month and must be submitted prior to the proposed effective date. However, retroactive six (6) month and annual salary increases to correct errors or oversights and retroactive payments resulting from grievance settlements shall be authorized. The proposed effective date for retroactive six (6) month and annual salary increases must be the first day of the month no more than twelve (12) months prior to the time of submitting the correcting recommendation.

  • Longevity Increment All unit members who have completed the required years of District service, as defined below, shall be eligible to receive a longevity increment.

  • Step Advancement Each faculty member will be granted one (1) increment on the salary schedule each year up to the maximum allowed. To qualify for advancement one (1) step on the salary schedule, employees must have been employed in a paid status or on any form of medical leave (FMLA, CFRA, etc.), or on military leave seventy-five percent (75%) or more of the school days in a school year.

  • Longevity Increments 11.6.1 Each regular classified employee shall receive a two-range increase (5%) upon completion of five (5) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This increase will become effective at the beginning of the sixth year.

  • Extension of Benefits Upon termination of insurance, whether due to termination of eligibility, or termination of the Contract, an extension of benefits shall be provided for a period of no less than 30 days for completion of a dental procedure that was started before Your coverage ended.
