Initial Team Assignments. After their facility and shift bid selections have been finalized, the Employer shall assign all Corrections Officers who are not on a Monday through Friday schedule to a Team. Except as otherwise provided herein, Teams shall be established by utilizing the employee classification seniority list to the extent that it will not hinder the operational control, effectiveness, gender requirement, and efficiency of each involved Team. The Employer shall also have the right to ensure adequate staffing of each gender are assigned to each Team at the main jail. Team assignments shall be final and will not be changed except for good cause. A union representative shall be permitted to be present during the employee assignment of Teams and to review the assignments. Subject to the foregoing, initial Team assignments shall be made by placing the most senior employee at the top of a shift Team. Probationary employees shall be assigned at the direction of the Employer.

  • Room Assignments A. The University draws students from many states, nations, races and religions. It will be the responsibility of each resident to respect the rights of all residents in university residence halls. Admission to Texas A&M University – Texarkana and any of its sponsored programs is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.   • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services.   • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • SUBLET/ASSIGNMENT The Lessee may not transfer or assign this Lease, or any right or interest hereunder or sublet said leased Premises or any part thereof without first obtaining the prior written consent and approval of the Lessor.

  • DELEGATION, ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACTS A. CONTRACTOR may not delegate the obligations hereunder, either in whole or in part, without prior written consent of COUNTY. CONTRACTOR shall provide written notification of CONTRACTOR’s intent to delegate the obligations hereunder, either in whole or part, to ADMINISTRATOR not less than sixty (60) calendar days prior to the effective date of the delegation. Any attempted assignment or delegation in derogation of this paragraph shall be void.
