Involvement in Assisting Pupils. Each Educational Support Associate demonstrates an acceptable level of performance in offering specialized assistance in identifying those needing specialized programs. The ESA staff member is able to: 1. Interpret characteristics and needs of students to parents and other professionals; 2. Write clear, complete and concise reports; 3. Organize and facilitate meetings with parents and other educational personnel to review or plan for the student’s needs; 4. Present the ESA specialized program and the school’s program to the public in a professional manner; 5. Protect the student’s and family’s right to privacy.
