Job Benefits and Protection. (a.) For the duration of FMLA leave, the Board will maintain the employee’s health coverage under the “group health plan.” (b.) Upon return from FMLA leave, employees will be restored to their original or any other position within the bargaining unit for which they are certified and qualified with equivalent pay, benefits, and other employment terms. (c.) The use of FMLA leave will not result in the loss of any employment benefit that accrued prior to the start of leave. (d.) FMLA does not supersede any collective bargaining agreement which provides greater family or medical leave rights. N: 94
