Xxxxxxxx Pay. 1. An employee who has completed at least one (1) year of compensated service with the Company prior to being laid off, through no fault or action of his own, shall receive furlough pay as provided by paragraph S.2 of this Article, paid as pay continuation, but shall not receive furlough pay if any one (1) or more of the following conditions exist:
a. He exercises his seniority to remain in the employ of the Company.
b. He accepts any other employment with the Company or refuses to accept a job in his own classification at his base or station as provided for in this Article 6.
c. He fails to exercise his seniority in any classification which would enable him to remain in the employ of the Company, except that refusal to exercise his seniority at another station/Point shall not prevent him from receiving furlough pay
d. He is dismissed for just cause, resigns or retires.
2. The amount of furlough pay due under this Article shall be based on the length of actual straight time compensated service with the Company, shall commence on the first day following the effective day of his furlough, and shall be computed on the basis of the employee’s regular “Hourly Base Rate of Pay” as defined in Article 15 at the time of layoff as follows: one (1) week of furlough pay for each year of service to a maximum of fifteen (15) weeks.
Xxxxxxxx Pay. 1. 2. A part-time employee receives furlough pay based on the average of the employee’s scheduled hours during the 2 pay periods prior to the layoff.
3. Employees who retire in lieu of furlough will receive furlough pay.
4. Calculation for both full-time and part-time employees is based on the following furlough pay table: Less than 1 year of service None 1 year but less than 2 years of service 2 weeks 2 years but less than 3 years of service 2 weeks 5 years but less than 6 years of service 5 weeks 6 years but less than 7 years of service 6 weeks 8 years but less than 9 years of service 8 weeks 9 years but less than 10 years of service 9 weeks 10 years but less than 11 years of service 10 weeks 11 years but less than 12 years of service 11 weeks 12 years but less than 13 years of service 12 weeks 13 years but less than 14 years of service 13 weeks 14 years but less than 15 years of service 15 weeks 15 or more years of service 17 weeks
5. An eligible employee will begin receiving furlough pay with the pay period following the effective date of the layoff. Furlough pay will be the equivalent of normal straight time earnings, at regular pay periods and continuing until all such furlough is paid. If an employee dies while receiving furlough pay, the unpaid balance will be paid to the employee’s executor, administrator or legal heirs.
6. An employee is not eligible for furlough pay if any one or more of the following conditions exist:
a. The employee remains employed with the Company in any position.
b. The employee fails to exercise seniority to accept any position in the same or higher classification that would enable him or her to remain in the active employ of the Company, unless the position is in another work status or the distance from the employee’s local home address to the new work Location increases by more than 20 miles.

Xxxxxxxx Pay. Is 8% above Total Taxable Wage and added to the Taxable Wage.
Xxxxxxxx Pay. Stewards shall be permitted reasonable time to present and process grievances on the company premises. At locations with one hundred (100) or more active drivers, the twenty (20) hours' pay per month shall be automatic. At locations with fifty-one (51) to ninety-nine (99) active drivers, the xxxxxxx will be paid ten (10) hours pay automatically, or for actual time spent up to twenty (20) hours, whichever is greater; and at locations with fifty (50) or fewer active drivers, the xxxxxxx will be paid five (5) hours pay automatically, or for actual time spent up to twenty (20) hours, whichever is greater. This provision pertains to driveaway stewards only. Time for meetings in processing grievances shall be established by mutual agreement by the Company and the Local Union.
Xxxxxxxx Pay. On jobs on which there are four (4) employees or more and which last a minimum of four (4) working days or more, one employee must draw xxxxxxx’x pay of one dollar ($1.00) per hour above the regular hourly rate. On jobs with ten (10) or more employees, one employee must draw xxxxxxx’x pay of three dollars ($3.00) per hour above their regular hourly rate.
Xxxxxxxx Pay. 1. A furloughed pilot shall receive furlough pay based on his longevity as a pilot, in accordance with the table below. The hourly rate of furlough pay shall be the rate applicable to the pilot’'s crew status on the day prior to the effective date of his furlough. For purposes of this paragraph, bid period compensation is deemed to be 70 hours and a bid period is deemed to be 4 weeks. Furlough pay shall be paid to pilots as provided in Section 3, commencing with the bid period immediately following a pilot’'s furlough. Additionally, furloughed pilots must update their current contact information to ensure proper delivery of Company information, including recall notices.

In this event, the number of bid periods during which the pilot is entitled to receive furlough pay shall be doubled. Any election of this option shall be made prior to the effective date of furlough and may not be modified after the commencement of the furlough.
