The Employer will notify all applicants of the result of their bid in a timely manner not to exceed two (2) weeks from the date the position is awarded. Section 4. A successful bidder shall be required to serve a sixty (60) calendar day trial period exclusive of any classroom training required. At the midpoint of the trial period the employee shall be evaluated and given written notification if a problem exists. During the trial period, the employee will be returned to his/her original position if the employee elects to be returned or the Employer finds the employee is unsatisfactory in the new position.

The Employer shall notify the Chief Xxxxxxx or designee of vacancies during regularly scheduled monthly meetings. The Chief Xxxxxxx or designee will in turn inform the union membership of the vacancies that will be available. The utilization of on-call workers will also be discussed at the monthly meeting or as needed. Section 11.2. The Employer will award the position to the bargaining unit employee (non- retiree) who best meets the minimum qualifications for the position, as outlined in the position specification. (Retirees are not eligible for full-time positions). Qualifications will include experience within the Agency, knowledge, skills, and the ability to perform the work. A non- probationary employee within the same classification requesting a lateral transfer will be given first consideration. If two (2) or more employees have relatively equal qualifications, the employee with the most seniority shall be awarded the position. If the vacancy is filled by a lateral transfer, the resulting vacancy may be filled from the original list of bidders, or the Employer may fill determine to post the position from any source available resulting vacancy. If no bargaining unit applicant meets minimum qualifications, then other non-bargaining unit applicants will be interviewed for the position. Retirees will be considered for part-time bargaining unit positions (as non-bargaining unit applicants) and may be considered for part-time non-bargaining unit positions in accordance with Agency policy. Section 11.3. If the vacancy is filled by a bargaining unit employee or other Agency employee, he/she will be required to successfully complete a non-initial probationary period in the Employer, provided newly appointed position. The non-initial probationary period for the candidate meets all successful bidder shall begin on the effective date of the qualifications appointment/move, or the date the employee is fully placed into the new position without regular continuation in his/her former position, whichever is later, and shall continue for hiring into that positiona period of ninety (90) calendar days. In all instancesWhen full assumption of the new position occurs on other than the date of appointment/move, the appropriate manager date the employee is responsible fully placed into the new position will be documented by the receiving supervisor and signed by the affected employee. A scheduled training plan will be developed between the sending and receiving supervisors to allow for the interview appointed/moved employee to both receive training in the new position and selection assist with the continuation of applicants within fourteen his/her former duties, inclusive of the training of his/her replacement, as applicable. The scheduled training plan will be structured in a manner so as to be clear to all involved parties. JOB BIDDING. Section 11.01 Insofar as practical and consistent with rendering good telephone service, seniority shall apply as follows whenever more than one (1. JOB BIDDING. Section 1. All The following procedure shall apply to the filling of vacancies or new jobs that may occur in the classifications included in the Bargaining Unit: a. Employees in job vacancies classifications where reduction-in-force (RIF) notices are in effect will be given consideration for existing or new bargaining unit openings in accordance with their qualifications and seniority. Under special circumstances of an RIF, the Employer and Union may agree to expedite the job bid process when a vacancy exists. b. If it develops before the end of the twelve (12) weeks period that the employee is not capable of handling the new job, the employee shall be entitled to return to his or her former job with his or her former status. g. When an employee who applied for a job is awarded such job, the Company will not be required to accept his or her application for another job unless twelve (12) months have elapsed from the time he or she was awarded the new job. h. If no applicant has the qualifications required for the vacancy or new job or if there be no applicant, the Company may assign a qualified employee from outside the Bargaining Unit, subject to other provisions of this Agreement, or hire a person qualified to fill the job. i. A bulletin announcing the disposition of each job bid with one or more eligible bidders shall be posted on Kaleidascope by the union job bid officer for seven (7) calendar days. The name and seniority date of each successful bidder will be shown. This information will be provided by the Company to the ATLC job bid officer. If there is no successful bidder, the bulletin will so indicate. b.) The posting shall include j. Each job posting will show the classification, either Customer Service Associate or Janitor. (2) If it is determined by the Company that there are no qualified applicants and the Company is unable to hire qualified employees within thirty (30) days from the date the vacancy is posted, then the Company shall give consideration to those applicants, or those employees considered not qualified under Paragraph D of this Section, whose records would seem to indicate they could learn satisfactorily to perform the required work before a new inexperienced employee shall be hired and trained for the work assignment. JOB BIDDING. Section 1(a) When an opportunity for a regular job exists, the Company shall post a notice announcing such a job opportunity and necessary qualifications. Each job posting will show the primary duties of the job, the days off associated with the new position, along with other repetitive functions. The other repetitive functions may be assisting supervisors as starters during busy periods or assisting management by working in the Customer Service office answering phones and giving out schedule and fare information. JOB BIDDING. Section 1. All 7.01 When it has been determined by the administration that a vacancy exists in the bargaining unit, that job vacancies opening will be posted in all buildings for a minimum of five (5) days prior to filling the vacancy. In case a convalescent office employee is able to work limited periods of the day, every effort shall be made to allow the employee to work such hours as he/she can handle. 35.2 Operators, office employees, and shop employees promoted or transferred into another classification shall enter that classification at the same progression step held immediately prior to the promotion or transfer. 35.3 In the event that any shop employee holding a permanent position shall have secured a leave of absence of at least three (3) months before applying for another posted position. Section 1a) New or permanent job classifications or vacancies shall be posted at least forty-eight (48) hours on a bulletin board in the plant prior to the filling of these jobs permanently.
