Job Descriptions and Changes in Classifications. The Employer agrees to draw up job descriptions for all positions for which the Union is the bargaining agent, and forward them to the Union Secretary for discussion, if required. In the event a new position is created by the Employer, or that a position changes significantly, the Employer agrees to discuss with the Union the contents of the new job description, or a revised one in the case of reclassification. If agreement on the content or salary level for all new positions or reclassified positions cannot be reached then the matter will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the arbitration procedures as specified in this Agreement.

  • Changes in Classification The regular wage rate of the employee in effect on July 1 and January 1 will determine his entitlement to Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverages as outlined in the schedule contained in Exhibit “B”. Where an employee’s regular duties consist of more than one job, his regular rate shall be deemed to be the average of the rates applicable to such jobs.

  • New Job Classifications 11.1 Whenever the Company determines it appropriate to create a new job classification in the bargaining unit, it shall proceed as follows.
