Job Descriptions. All jobs within the scope of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local Unit 2545 are to be described in terms of general job function, work performed, supervision received, machines and equipment used and qualifications and experience. Job descriptions are to be documented in a uniform manner, agreed to by the Committee and used as the basis for job evaluation.

Classification Appeals: Many of our projects include an appeals/review process following adoption of a new plan. Because the approach to appeals varies from client-to-client, we have found it easiest to include this as an optional add-on to a project. If the District desires to incorporate an appeals process, the District will be invoiced $175 per appeal/review submitted for our review and recommendation, plus travel expenses.
