Journeyman Certification. Apprentices registered with the Industry Training Authority will have the opportunity to complete their program as provided for in the ITA notice dated December 1, 2011. Apprentices indentured by the Company subsequent to the deactivation of the “Community Antenna Television Technician” program will be certified by the Apprentice Joint Training Committee. The equivalent to journeyman status will be granted to technicians that have completed their apprenticeship to the satisfaction of the JTC, and or successfully completed the requirements for and passed a JTC validated trades qualifications exam. Journeyman Certification. The Employer agrees to accept, and to place in the individual employee's Agency personnel file, a certification(s) from the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, or any other certifications that the individual employee has satisfactorily completed all the requirements of such federal agency for an apprenticeship training course or program.
Journeyman Certification. The typical journeyman certification eligibility program requires four (4) years of full-time progressive on-the-job training plus four (4) years of concurrent formal scholastic training at the rate of thirty-six (36) weeks per year with four (4) hours of class work per week and six (6) hours of outside preparation per week. Each year of required full-time preparation (2,000 hours on the job plus 360 total related) is equivalent to thirteen (13) semester undergraduate credit hours and each year of subsequent full-time practice is equivalent to five (5) semester credit hours.
Journeyman Certification. Each Journeyman of Local 290 shall attend training classes as given by the Training Committee during the school year to keep themselves upgraded to the industry needs. a) All Journeymen must complete twenty-four (24) hours per year of related training. Apprentices are encouraged to complete twenty-four (24) hours per year of related training in addition to their required Apprenticeship Classes. Retirees are encouraged to participate in the Retirees Wellness Program and receive 24 points annually. b) Only those members who satisfactorily complete the above annual training will be eligible to receive any Educational Reimbursement compensation.

  • COMPENSATION CERTIFICATION Labor Code Section 3700 in relevant part provides: Every employer except the State shall secure the payment of compensation in one or more of the following ways:  By being insured against liability to pay compensation by one or more insurers duly authorized to write compensation insurance in this State.  By securing from the Director of Industrial Relations a certificate of consent to self-insure, which may be given upon furnishing satisfactory proof to the Director of Industrial Relations of ability to self-insure and to pay any compensation that may become due to its employees. I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the Work of this Contract.   • AS9100 Certification ‌ AS9100 Certification, specifies requirements for a quality management system to demonstrate the Contractor’s ability to consistently meet the customer requirements as well as statutory and regulatory requirements for the aerospace industry. An AS9100 Certification, is not mandatory; however, Contractors who desire to compete for work within the aerospace industry are encouraged to have AS9100 Certification, during the entire term of OASIS. The Contractor shall notify the OASIS CO, in writing, if there are any changes in the status of their AS9100 Certification, and provide the reasons for the change and copies of audits from an AS9100 Certification Body, as applicable. If only part of a Contractor’s organization is AS9100, certified, the Contractor shall make the distinction between which business units or sites and geographic locations have been certified.

  • Lobbying Certification This certification is a material representation of fact upon which reliance was placed when this transaction was made or entered into. Submission of this certification is a prerequisite for making or entering into this transaction imposed by section 1352, title 31, U.S.C. Any person who fails to file the required certification shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 for each such failure.

  • Tax Certification If Contractor is a taxable entity as defined by Chapter 171, Texas Tax Code, then Contractor certifies it is not currently delinquent in the payment of any taxes due under Chapter 171, Contractor is exempt from the payment of those taxes, or Contractor is an out‑of‑state taxable entity that is not subject to those taxes, whichever is applicable.

  • Labor Certification By its signature hereunder, Consultant certifies that it is aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for Workers’ Compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that Code, and agrees to comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the Services.

  • RECYCLING CERTIFICATION The Contractor shall certify in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, if not exact, percentage of post consumer material as defined in the Public Contract Code Section 12200, in products, materials, goods, or supplies offered or sold to the State regardless of whether the product meets the requirements of Public Contract Code Section 12209. With respect to printer or duplication cartridges that comply with the requirements of Section 12156(e), the certification required by this subdivision shall specify that the cartridges so comply (Pub. Contract Code §12205).

  • TERMINATION CERTIFICATION Upon separation from employment with the Company, I agree to immediately sign and deliver to the Company the “Termination Certification” attached hereto as Exhibit C. I also agree to keep the Company advised of my home and business address for a period of three (3) years after termination of my employment with the Company, so that the Company can contact me regarding my continuing obligations provided by this Agreement.

  • OFAC Certification Company certifies that (i) it is not acting on behalf of any person, group, entity, or nation named by any Executive Order or the United States Treasury Department, through its Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) or otherwise, as a terrorist, “Specially Designated Nation”, “Blocked Person”, or other banned or blocked person, entity, nation, or transaction pursuant to any law, order, rule or regulation that is enforced or administered by OFAC or another department of the United States government, and (ii) Company is not engaged in this transaction on behalf of, or instigating or facilitating this transaction on behalf of, any such person, group, entity or nation.

  • Professional Certification The Superintendent shall at all times during the term of this Contract, and any renewal or extension thereof, hold and maintain a valid certificate required of a superintendent by the State of Texas and issued by the State Board for Educator Certification or the Texas Education Agency and any other certificates required by law.

  • CHILD SUPPORT CERTIFICATION Under Section 231.006, Texas Family Code, the Engineer certifies that the individual or business entity named in this contract, bid, or application is not ineligible to receive the specified grant, loan, or payment and acknowledges that this contract may be terminated and payment may be withheld if this certification is inaccurate. If the above certification is shown to be false, the Engineer is liable to the state for attorney’s fees, the cost necessary to complete the contract, including the cost of advertising and awarding a second contract, and any other damages provided by law or the contract. A child support obligor or business entity ineligible to receive payments because of a payment delinquency of more than thirty (30) days remains ineligible until: all arrearages have been paid; the obligor is in compliance with a written repayment agreement or court order as to any existing delinquency; or the court of continuing jurisdiction over the child support order has granted the obligor an exemption from Subsection (a) of Section 231.006, Texas Family Code, as part of a court- supervised effort to improve earnings and child support payments.
