Common use of Jury Duty or Court Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty or Court Witness. The Employer shall grant court leave without loss of pay or seniority to an employee who serves as a juror or who is subpoenaed by the Crown as witness in any court proceeding. The Employer shall pay such employee the difference between the reimbursement by the court and his/her normal straight-time earnings that would have been otherwise earned.
