Land Use Objectives. 6.1.1 The following objectives were established under sections 3 to 5 of the FPC. 6.1.2 Order Establishing Provincial Non-Spatial Old Growth Objectives The “Order Establishing Provincial Non-Spatial Old Growth Objectives”, (effective June 30, 2004), clarifies the amount of area available for timber harvesting. This order supplements, but does not replace, FPPR Section 9. FDU Result for Old Growth Objectives Haslam Landscape Unit FDU 2 (portion) Xxxxxx XX all of FDU 3 Approach to Harvesting and Roads 1. The Holder will, when constructing roads or harvesting timber under this FSP do so in a manner consistent with the “Order Establishing Provincial Non-Spatial Old Growth Objectives”, (effective June 30, 2004). 6.1.3 Order(s) Establishing Landscape Unit Objectives FDU Old Growth Objectives Bunster Landscape Unit all of FDU 1 Xxxx Landscape Unit FDU 2 (portion) The Holder will, when constructing a road or harvesting timber under this FSP, do so in a manner consistent with the following approved landscape units and Established Objectives: "Order to Establish a Landscape Unit and Objectives - Bunster Landscape Unit", effective September 22, 2000. "Order to Establish a Landscape Unit and Objectives - Xxxx Landscape Unit", effective December 2, 2002. 6.1.4 Order for the Recovery of Marbled Murrelet (Brachyramphus marmoratus) The Objectives set for Marbled Murrelet nesting habitat through the Order for the Recovery of Marbled Murrelet (Brachyramphus marmoratus) effective December 2, 2021, are to: (1) Maintain Suitable Habitat as follows: (a) For each: landscape unit aggregate in the order area: Retain all timber in an amount equal to or greater than the minimum habitat threshold listed in Column “A” in Table 1 in Schedule “7”. (b) For each: landscape unit portion in the order area: Retain all timber in an amount equal to or greater than the suitable habitat target listed in Column “A” in Table 2 in Schedule “7”; (2) Despite subsection (1)(b), the amount of timber that must be retained within a landscape unit portion in the West and North Vancouver Island and Southern Mainland Coast Conservation Regions may be less than the suitable habitat target listed in Column “A” in Table 2 in Schedule “7”, provided that: The amount of timber retained is equal to or greater than the minimum habitat threshold listed in Column “B” in Table 2 in Schedule “7”.   • Safety Objectives 55.1 The Parties recognise the potentially hazardous nature of the construction industry. To this end, the Parties to the Agreement are committed to continuous improvement in occupational health and safety standards through the implementation of an organisational framework which involves all Parties in protecting Employees’ health and safety. 55.2 In meeting these objectives, the Parties have agreed to consider a broad agenda through the consultative processes established by this Agreement. Such an agenda will include: (a) Measures designed to include the safe operation of plant and equipment; (b) Training issues including specific hazards, health and safety systems, and site induction; (c) Management of occupational health and safety through a comprehensive approach which aims to control hazards at their source, reduce the incidence and costs of occupational injuries and illnesses; and (d) Risk of fatigue (see clause 36.5). 55.3 The Employer will comply with all relevant work health and safety legislation, including the OHS Act, workers compensation legislation, regulations, codes of practice and relevant and appropriate Australian and Industry Standards as set out in Appendix F.

B. Good Faith Efforts Pursuant to 5 NYCRR § 142.8, evidence of good faith efforts shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. A list of the general circulation, trade, and MWBE-oriented publications and dates of publications in which the Contractor solicited the participation of certified MWBEs as subcontractors/suppliers, copies of such solicitations, and any responses thereto. 2. A list of the certified MWBEs appearing in the Empire State Development (“ESD”) MWBE directory that were solicited for this Contract. Provide proof of dates or copies of the solicitations and copies of the responses made by the certified MWBEs. Describe specific reasons that responding certified MWBEs were not selected. 3. Descriptions of the Contract documents/plans/specifications made available to certified MWBEs by the Contractor when soliciting their participation and steps taken to structure the scope of work for the purpose of subcontracting with, or obtaining supplies from, certified MWBEs. 4. A description of the negotiations between the Contractor and certified MWBEs for the purposes of complying with the MWBE goals of this Contract. 5. Dates of any pre-bid, pre-award, or other meetings attended by Contractor, if any, scheduled by OGS with certified MWBEs whom OGS determined were capable of fulfilling the MWBE goals set in the Contract. 6. Other information deemed relevant to the request.

  • PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 4.1 The Performance Plan (Annexure A) sets out- 4.1.1 the performance objectives and targets that must be met by the Employee; and 4.1.2 the time frames within which those performance objectives and targets must be met. 4.2 The performance objectives and targets reflected in Annexure A are set by the Employer in consultation with the Employee and based on the Integrated Development Plan, Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) and the Budget of the Employer, and shall include key objectives; key performance indicators; target dates and weightings. 4.2.1 The key objectives describe the main tasks that need to be done. 4.2.2 The key performance indicators provide the details of the evidence that must be provided to show that a key objective has been achieved. 4.2.3 The target dates describe the timeframe in which the work must be achieved. 4.2.4 The weightings show the relative importance of the key objectives to each other. 4.3 The Employee’s performance will, in addition, be measured in terms of contributions to the goals and strategies set out in the Employer’s Integrated Development Plan.

(b) The Employer is accountable to: (1) Provide the management resource and support needed to achieve an injury and incident free Project; (2) Encourage its leaders to focus on issues raised by any member of their team; (3) Ensure its leaders act to address appropriately and in a timely manner, any concern raised by any member of their team; (4) Act at all times with fairness, honesty and in a trustworthy manner, responding to issues or concerns raised in a timely manner; (5) Recognise the talents and capabilities of their Employees and encourage excellence in construction execution. (c) Each Employee is accountable to: (1) Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work area, ensure safe and healthy work practices are followed at all times and within their duty of care, take responsibility for their personal safety and the safety of other Employees; (2) Comply with Project environmental health and safety regulations, procedures and practices; (3) Participate in and comply with the Project’s cultural and environmental processes; (4) Ensure their personal fitness for work on each day they are scheduled to work; (5) In all of their dealings with other Employees and their Employer, act with fairness and respect; (6) Work towards both the Project and their team’s goals to the full extent of their personal capacity; and (7) Raise any personal concern/issue directly with their immediate team leader/supervisor thereby providing the Employer with an opportunity to resolve/assist the concern/issue. If the team leader/supervisor is not available, then raise the matter with a more senior Employer leader.
