Landfill Attendants. Landfill Attendants shall work three 11.5-hour shifts per week. They will have a paid working lunch to be taken on site and to be scheduled by the Manager. Landfill Attendants will be entitled to overtime after hours in a one week period. Relief Personnel: Relief Equipment Operators shall apply to all landfill operations with the exception of the Relief Landfill Attendants shall apply only to the Relief Landfill Attendants: o Where feasible, Permanent Landfill Attendants will be offered hours to reach hours in a one week period when the other Permanent Landfill Attendant is absent, otherwise, Relief Landfill Attendants shall be offered, in order of seniority, the first opportunity to a shift that becomes available due to the absence of the Permanent Landfill Attendants. o Relief Landfill Personnel shall work the shift of the permanent employee they are relieving for. o If an entire shift represents an overtime situation for all Relief Landfill Attendants, that shift will be offered to the Permanent Landfill Attendants in order of seniority.   • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.

  • Fill, Backfill and Landscaping No soil found on Site, or transported to the Site from remote locations, which contains debris or waste or Hazardous Materials shall be used for fill, backfill or landscaping topsoil.

At 0800 and 2000 hours, all trucks shall be staffed with one (1) officer and four (4) firefighters, and any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters.

  • Dewatering 4.7.1 Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, all non- trades employees shall assist in ‘dewatering’ their own work site or area if it is so affected. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected.

You will be encouraged to visit the LIFE Center to see what it is like. If you are interested in enrolling, a LIFE Provider representative and the Independent Enrollment Broker will assist you with the enrollment process. You should be prepared to participate in phone calls and/or visits with both the LIFE Provider and Independent Enrollment Broker in order to complete your enrollment process.

  • Plant The expression ‘Plant’ as used in the tender papers shall mean every temporary accessory necessary or considered necessary by the Engineer to execute, construct, complete and maintain the work and all altered, modified, substituted and additional works ordered in the time and the manner herein provided and all temporary materials and special and other articles and appliance of every sort kind and description whatsoever intended or used therefore.
