Lead Cook Qualifications. Within 90 days of the start date as a Lead Cook, the employee must obtain a Minnesota Certified Food Production Manager (CFPM) Certificate and turn in a copy to the Nutrition Manager. The employee will be required to take and pass the Servesafe class and apply for the CFPM Certificate from the MN Department of Health. The District will reimburse the Lead Cook for the cost of the Safeserve class and the certificate from the MN Department of Health. The employee must pay for the cost of future recertifications and maintain the CFPM Certificate as long as the employee is in a Lead Cook position. Within one year of the start date as a Lead Cook, the employee must also join and become Level 1 certified through the School Nutrition Association (SNA). The employee will pay the cost of the certification and/or recertifications for any training hours required by SNA. The Lead Cook must maintain SNA Level 1 certification as long as the employee is in a Lead Cook position. Lead Cooks are not eligible for the Level 1 certification pay in Art 9.9 Certification Pay. Lead Cooks are eligible for Level 2-4 differentials in Art 9.9. Lead Cooks who let their certification lapse would be placed in a cook position, if no longer meeting the Level 1 or CFPM certification.

Lead Cook Qualifications. Within one year of the start date into a Lead Cook position, the employee shall have achieved the National Level I certification and shall maintain re-certification as long as the employee is in a Lead Cook position. The department shall pay the cost of certification and re-certification training classes required by the State of Minnesota Department of Health. The employee shall pay the cost of the additional hours necessary to complete the required number of training hours for National Level certification and re-certification. A. National Level 2 Certification is recognized by the District for differential pay. All Lead Cooks/production coordinators are encouraged to be National Level 2 certified and maintain that certification. B. Production Coordinator Qualifications: employees shall complete and have passing grades for approved courses at the National Certification Level 2 prior to being eligible to accept a production coordinator position. However, if no candidates possess the required certification, the successful applicant must become National Level 2 certified within two years from the date of the hire into the production coordinator position. The department shall pay the cost of certification and re-certification training classes required by the State of Minnesota Department of Health. The employee shall pay the cost of the additional hours necessary to complete the required number of training hours for national Level 2 certification and re-certification.

  • STAFF QUALIFICATIONS CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all individuals employed, contracted, and/or otherwise hired by CONTRACTOR to provide classroom and/or individualized instruction or related services hold a license, certificate, permit, or other document equivalent to that which staff in a public school are required to hold in the service rendered consistent with Education Code section 56366.1(n)(1) and are qualified pursuant to Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations sections 200.56 and 200.58, and Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations sections 3001(y), 3064 and 3065. Such qualified staff may only provide related services within the scope of their professional license, certification or credential and ethical standards set by each profession, and not assume responsibility or authority for another related services provider or special education teacher’s scope of practice. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all staff are appropriately credentialed to provide instruction and services to students with the disabling conditions placed in their program/school through documentation provided to the CDE (5 CCR 3064 (a)).

  • Professional Qualifications It shall be a condition of continued professional employment that employees must apply for enrolment in their appropriate professional licensing body by the thirtieth day of continuous service.
