Leave for Bargaining Unit Officers. Upon application by District 23, OSSTF, leave will be granted for up to the equivalent of four (4) full-time teachers. Such leave will be granted for District 23 activities and must be submitted to the Board by April 1 of the preceding school year.

Leave for Bargaining Unit Officers. ‌ On the request of the President of the Bargaining Unit, and subject to securing a suitable replacement, the Boards shall grant unpaid leave of up to a maximum of sixty (60) days per agreement year for the President of the Bargaining Unit to conduct Union business. In addition, on the request of the President of the Bargaining Unit, and subject to securing suitable replacements, the Board shall grant additional unpaid leave to a total maximum of forty (40) days per Agreement year for Union business. For any such leave, the Board will continue to pay an employee on such leave, and the Union shall reimburse the Board at replacement cost for the employee taking leave under this Article.

  • Non-Bargaining Unit Personnel It is understood and agreed that there are times when non-bargaining unit employees may be required to perform work customarily performed by bargaining unit employees. It is also understood that Supervisors and others will be required to work with tools only to meet requirements under the conditions listed below. Therefore, the Company shall have the right to utilize non-bargaining unit employees under one or more of the following conditions:

  • Union Bargaining Committees ‌ A union bargaining committee shall consist of employees who are representatives of the Union together with the President of the Union or designate. The Union shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of members of the staff of the Union when negotiating with the Employer.

  • Bargaining Unit Work 255. The City agrees that it will not assign work currently performed by employees under this Agreement to City employees in other bargaining units.

  • Bargaining Unit The term "bargaining unit" as used in this Agreement refers to the bargaining unit defined in Article 1, Recognition.
