LEAVE OF ABSENCE WITH OR WITHOUT PAY. 18 GENERAL INFORMATION 19 26.1 Leaves of absence may be paid or unpaid, depending upon the 20 circumstances of the leave and whether the employee has accrued 21 applicable paid leave available. Four categories of leaves of absence are 22 described herein. 23 A. Leaves of absence will be granted for Family and Medical Leave 24 (FMLA) -see Section 26.6. 25 B.
