Leave on Half Pay. Subject to operational and service delivery requirements, Employees shall have the option to take all leave entitlements at double the time at half pay.
Leave on Half Pay. An employee may elect to take their entitled long service leave on half pay but remain on leave for double the amount of time. For example if an employee is entitled to 13 weeks long service leave and are usually paid $20 per hour they may elect to take 26 weeks long service leave at an hourly rate of $10 per hour. The Manager will need to approve the extended leave, giving consideration to the effective operations of the service unit.
