Long Service Leave Entitlement. 15.1 The Employee is entitled to long service leave in accordance with the provisions of the relevant State/Territory legislation, as amended from time to time.

Long Service Leave Entitlement. The long service leave entitlement of a Principal will be: (a) in respect of full-time service of less than ten years’ service, 6.5 days per year of service; (b) in respect of full-time service completed by the Principal of 10 or more years, 10 days per year of service; and (c) in respect of part-time service, or continuous casual service completed by the Principal, a pro rata amount of the entitlement in paragraphs 25.2(a) and (b), calculated according to the FTE load of the Principal during the period of part-time or casual service. In respect of continuous casual service completed by the Principal, a pro rata amount of the entitlement in paragraphs 25.2(a) and (b), calculated according to the number of days the casual Principal works during a year as it bears to 203 days. For example, over a year a casual Principal works 101.5 days. The casual Principal’s FTE is 0.5 (101.5 ÷ 203). Therefore, during that year the casual Principal has accrued either 3.25 days (0.5 x 6.5 days) or 5 days (0.5 x 10 days) of long service leave (depending on the length of continuous service of the casual Principal).
Long Service Leave Entitlement a) A staff member who has ten (10) years or more full-time service is entitled to the following long service leave: i) Ninety one (91) calendar days leave in respect of the first ten (10) years of service, calculated as nine point one (9.1) calendar days per completed year of service; and ii) Nine point one (9.1) calendar days leave in respect of each subsequent year of service. iii) Members of the professional staff and ex-SACAE staff will be entitled to fifteen (15) calendar days of long service leave in respect of the sixteenth and each subsequent year of effective service. b) Staff members who have undertaken periods of part-time service will accrue long service leave credits on a pro rata basis in respect of that service and this will be calculated and expressed as full-time equivalent calendar days. c) Staff members who have undertaken periods of casual service (including staff members who are employed as a casual on a regular and systematic basis) will also accrue long service leave credits on a pro rata basis in respect of that service, calculated by averaging the weekly hours of work over the period of the casual service. Such credits will also be expressed as full-time equivalent calendar days. Procedures for the calculation and payment of long service leave for casuals shall be in accordance with the Long Service Leave for Casuals Guidelines. d) An entitlement under this section arises in respect of completed years and months of service. e) Subject to sub-clauses 41.3 d) and f), a staff member who has completed seven (7) years’ service is, on termination of service, entitled to a payment equal to the monetary equivalent of the staff member’s balance of long service leave entitlement at the time of termination. f) A staff member who has completed seven (7) years’ service (but less than 10 years) is not entitled to a payment under sub-clause 41.3 if: i) the staff member’s contract of service is terminated on the ground of serious misconduct on the part of the staff member; or ii) the contract of service is unlawfully terminated by the staff member.
Long Service Leave Entitlement a. Employees covered by this Agreement shall continue to be entitled to Long Service on the following basis: i. In respect of their service with Simplot prior to 1 July 2001 accrue their Long Service Leave entitlement on the basis of 0.866 weeks per year of completed service. ii. Long Service Leave Entitlement. 4.4.1 Full-time Employees who complete ten (10) years continuous service are entitled to long service leave at the rate of 1.3 weeks on full pay for each year of continuous service and a proportionate amount for an incomplete year of service thereafter. 4.4.2 Part-time and casual Employees accrue long service leave on a proportionate basis. 4.4.3 Payment of long service leave is based on the ordinary rate being paid to the Employee immediately before the leave is taken. 4.4.4 Employees may take leave on a pro rata basis after seven (7) years continuous service but are only entitled to payment in lieu of leave on termination after ten (10) years continuous service. 4.4.5 Exceptions to payment in lieu of long service leave on termination prior to the completion of ten (10) years continuous service are in accordance with the Industrial Relations Act 2016 (Qld) as amended from time to time. 4.4.6 Employees may apply to take long service leave at half pay for double the period of time subject to: (a) Mater’s discretion; and deemed to be halved and leave will accrue accordingly. the employee agreeing that for the duration of the leave their ordinary hours will be 4.4.7 The minimum period of leave is one (1) week.

Long Service Leave Entitlement. (1) An employee shall be entitled to long service leave with pay, in respect of continuous service with Epworth HealthCare in accordance with the provisions of this clause. (2) The amount of such entitlement shall be: (a) On the completion by the employee of ten years' continuous service- 17.33 weeks long service leave. (b) In the case of former Cedar Court employees (being employees who were employed by Cedar Court when Epworth HealthCare acquired Cedar Court) on completion of seven years' continuous service will receive on termination payment - 12.13 weeks long service leave. (c) Thereafter an additional 1.73 weeks long service leave on the completion of each additional year of service. (d) If an employee is dismissed for serious and wilful misconduct they will not be entitled to long service leave. At the end of the third year of this agreement (being 16 June 2011) all staff will be entitled to access long service leave on completion of seven years' continuous service e- 12.13 weeks long service leave.
