LEAVES GENERAL. C.1.1 An employee may be granted a leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority if his written application is approved by the appropriate official of the Board and is sent to the Board’s business office at least fifteen (15) days prior to the requested leave. Such request should show good and sufficient reason and not merely personal desire. The granting or denial of any leave of absence will be confirmed in writing.
