Letter of Hire. The Hospital will continue to provide each newly hired nurse, including current employees hired into new positions, with a letter of hire clearly stating their original date of hire (for seniority purposes), their FTE and work status (full-time, part-time or casual), and the step at which they are being hired.
Letter of Hire. Every new employee shall receive a Letter of Hire, copied to the Union, which shall contain; Duration of employment, start date, end date (Temporary employees only) and provision for early termination (Temporary employees only) Employment status; Permanent Full-time or Temporary Employment designation; Temporary Full-time, Temporary Regular Part-time or Temporary Casual Part-time The terms and conditions of work where not specified within the Collective Agreement Termination of a temporary employee at the end of his/her term of employment, or early termination of a temporary employee in accordance with the provisions of the Letter of Hire or the Collective Agreement, shall not be the subject of a grievance or arbitration.
