Local Coordinator Leave. In accordance with Article 11.02 of the Central Agreement, the Hospital will grant leaves of absence without pay, to a nurse who is elected to the position of Local Coordinator, up to a total of forty (40) days each calendar year, provided four (4) weeks' notice is given in writing to the Clinical Co-ordinator or the Scheduling Clerk from the Local Coordinator whenever possible. Arrangement for staff coverage will be made by the Clinical Co-ordinator or his/her delegate at the time of the request being granted. These leaves of absence will be separate from and not counted against Leave for Union business in Article F-1 above.
