Local Coordinator Responsibilities. All Member Agencies have adopted this Agreement with a commitment to engage in local and regional cooperative planning, coordination and delivery of services. Each Member Agency will provide local support via staff with primary and/or secondary responsibilities including, but not limited to the following: a) Management/Coordination of the Local Emergency Operations Center (EOC) – (functional and support services.) b) Provide liaison support to the County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Director or his/her designee in emergency or disaster situations. c) Oversee the preparation and prepare and modify elements of the local Emergency Operations Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan to ensure compatibility with the Operational Area Emergency Operations Plan and Annexes. d) Develop relationships with representatives of local departments, public and private support and relief agencies, business, educational, homeowners' and other groups regarding emergency services; prepare specialized plans designed to meet the needs of various sections of the community. e) Prepare and disseminate training materials to ensure effective response in a disaster situation; f) Develop, train and maintain community engagement, through programs such as Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) g) Develop relationships with representatives of other emergency management and response agencies and organizations; review legislation, regulations and other documentation to ensure that the City is in compliance with such regulations and avail itself of all financial and other resources.

Each jurisdiction will provide local support of the emergency management effort through staff with primary or secondary responsibilities that will include but are not limited to the following: a) Management/Coordination of the Local Emergency Operations Center (EOC) – (functional and support services) b) Provide liaison support to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Director or his/her designee in emergency or disaster situations. c) Participate with a Planning and Exercise Design Team as well as complete a 3-5 year Training and Exercise Program that is HSEEP compliant. d) Training various department personnel to establish and operate a department Operating Center (D.O.C.) e) Oversee the preparation and prepare and modify elements of the local Emergency Operations Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan to ensure compatibility with the Operational Area Emergency Operations Plan and Annexes. f) Develop relationships with representatives of local departments, public and private support and relief agencies, business, educational, homeowners' and other groups regarding emergency services; prepare specialized plans designed to meet the needs of various sections of the community. g) Prepare and disseminate training materials to ensure effective response in a disaster situation; h) Develop, train and maintain a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) system i) Develop relationships with representatives of state and federal agencies; review legislation, regulations and other documentation to ensure that the City is in compliance with such regulations and avails itself of all financial and other resources. j) Respond to the Emergency Operations Center when it is activated; ensures that appropriate documents are available at the center and provides liaison and coordinative support as required.

Residents will provide compassionate, timely and appropriate patient care and serve the Program training sites and their patients. Residents will accept the duties, responsibilities, and rotations assigned by the Program Director and abide by the rules and regulations of the hospitals and clinics to which the resident is assigned to the extent consistent with this Agreement and Providence and Program policies; conduct themselves ethically and professionally in keeping with their position as a physician; and abide by the terms of this Agreement. The Program Director may delegate to a faculty member in the Program any of the authorities, duties and/or responsibilities of the Program Director. References in this Agreement to “Program Director” include a designee, if any, to whom the Program Director has made such a delegation. B. The residency program provides faculty supervision of residents in the Program. This responsibility includes defining Program content, evaluating Program quality and evaluating individual residents’ clinical training and performance. Additionally, Providence and the Program perform a series of administrative and educational functions for the benefit of residents and the participating institutions and clinics. C. Providence, as the sponsoring institution, appoints a Designated Institutional Official (DIO) who, in conjunction with the Graduate Medical Education Committee (“GMEC”), has the responsibility to monitor and ensure compliance with all ACGME Common, Specialty/Subspecialty-Specific Program and Institutional Requirements. Each Program will have two (2) peer-selected resident representatives with full voting privileges on the GMEC. D. The sponsoring and participating institutions provide: educational and clinical opportunities for residents; services and systems to minimize residents’ work that is extraneous to their GME educational goals to include [without limitation] patient support services, laboratory/pathology/radiology services and medical records; funds for resident salaries, funds and/or services for the benefits provided to residents, and funds for administration of the Program. E. Providence and participating institutions will assure the availability of meals; rest and sleeping quarters; and support facilities conducive to the educational process which includes adequate communication resources and technological support. Providence and participating institutions have agreed to provide on-call rooms with available bathroom facilities. There shall be a sufficient number of on-call rooms so that while on-call residents may sleep and have a secured storage area for books and clothing. Providence and participating institutions will assure there are clean and private facilities for lactation that have refrigeration capabilities.

  • Union Responsibility The Union will attend to any necessary documentation required as a result of a change in the designated institution.

  • Association Responsibilities The Association shall have, in addition to other responsibilities expressly set forth herein or provided by law, the following responsibilities:

  • Contractor Responsibilities 19.1. Contractor shall perform national criminal history checks for Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, and 10-panel drug screening tests on all prospective employees performing work under this RFP or coming onto a CMHA property and any resulting contract and provide summaries of the results to the Authority if requested. For the purposes of this section, the term “employees” includes contractor. Prospective employees whose criminal background check discloses a misdemeanor or felony involving crimes of moral turpitude, sexual offenses or harm to persons or property shall not be employed to perform work under this RFP or any resulting contract. Contractor is required to perform drug screening of all employees and to ensure acceptable test results. Criminal history and drug screening checks will be completed at the sole expense of the contractor. Any employee of the Contractor suspected of being under the influence of drugs and or alcohol will be reported to the appropriate personnel at CMHA and/or other local law enforcement. If the employee is determined to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol in any form or manner, or believed by proper authority to be dealing in illicit sale of alcohol or drugs they will be removed and shall not be allowed to return to any job site on the Authority’s property. The Contractor’s contract may be suspended and/or terminated should such a situation occur or if the Contractor fails to submit results pursuant to this section. 19.1.1. If CMHA requests additional drug screening, the test shall be performed within 24 hours and the summary shall be sent directly to CMHA from the testing facility. 19.2. Contractor(s) shall provide uniforms and ID Badges identifying Contractor for all employees working on CMHA’s properties. No employees will be allowed on CMHA’s properties out of uniform and without his/her ID badge on his/her person. Contractor(s) must submit a picture of the uniform and a sample of his/her ID badge if requested by CMHA. 19.3. Contractor’s personnel shall be neat and conduct all work in a professional and efficient manner. If any employee of Contractor is deemed unacceptable by CMHA, Contractor shall immediately replace such personnel with an acceptable substitute to CMHA. 19.4. Contractor(s) shall practice acceptable safety precautions so as not to cause harm to any persons or property while performing services under this RFP or any resulting contract. Contractor(s) shall follow industry safety standards, and use only industry approved safety equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications in the performance of all duties. 19.5. Contractor(s) shall pay all of its employees, including any and all approved Sub-Contractors, at least the legal minimum wages as determined by the United States Department of Labor and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and Department of Labor Prevailing Wage. Wage Determinations can be accessed via the Department of Labor website, xxx.xxxx.xxx. 19.6. Upon completion of the work, Contractor(s) shall clean up the area where the work was performed and Contractor(s) shall remove any debris generated by the products and/or services at CMHA premises. At no time, will Contractor(s) discard debris into any CMHA refuse container. 19.7. Contractor(s) shall clearly mark all work areas that might reasonably be expected to endanger the health and safety of residents, guests, or any other persons. Contractor(s) will provide such signs, markers and barricades as required to identify all work areas and minimize inherent dangers. 19.8. The contractor shall be responsible for notifying CMHA immediately of any damages (i.e. fire, container leaking) deemed to be a health or safety hazard whether the damage is caused by the contractor or other means. 19.9. The Contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all CMHA property provided for Contractor use. At the close of each workday, CMHA facilities, property and materials shall be inspected and secured.

  • Other Responsibilities The Responsibility factors also take account of any responsibility the jobholder may have through the provision of advice and guidance on policies and procedures, research or the adaptation or development of existing or new policies and procedures. An assessment tool has been developed to help ensure that advisory, policy and similar ‘hands off’ responsibilities, such as research or democratic services, are correctly measured and allocated to the appropriate Responsibility factor. It is recommended that jobs are first evaluated on their ‘hands on’ responsibilities under each Responsibility factor and that an assessment is then made of the level of advisory/policy responsibilities and the factor to which it should be allocated.
