Common use of Local Holidays Clause in Contracts

Local Holidays. Where a local holiday or in-service day requires the closing of school where bargaining unit employees are assigned on days which are not regular paid holidays as set forth in Section 5.17, the employee may either take vacation or payroll deduction. Employees will be allowed to work within the District in paid status if mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee. [Revised 8-21-03]
