Lunch Periods. 1. The District shall establish an unpaid, uninterrupted lunch period of not less than one-half (1/2) hour for each Bargaining Unit employee working five (5) or more consecutive hours per day. Lunch periods shall be scheduled not less than five (5) days in advance by the employee’s immediate supervisor at or about the midpoint of the work shift. Response to emergencies will be expected and compensated for by equivalent time during the same day that the emergency occurs.
