Common use of Lunch Periods Clause in Contracts

Lunch Periods. Subd. 1. Employees who work in a specific position for six (6) hours per day or more shall be given a thirty (30) minute duty-free unpaid lunch. Subd. 2. If circumstances arise that prohibit an employee from taking a duty-free lunch on a specific day (e.g.) field trip), the employee shall be paid for their lunch period that day.
