MAINTAINING CREDENTIALS. It is expected that all faculty members employed because of expertise represented by a professional/occupational license or certification issued by a governmental licensing agency or a nationally-recognized occupational organization shall maintain said license or certification in good standing and may be subject to dismissal in the event that the license or certification is suspended, lapsed or revoked.
MAINTAINING CREDENTIALS. 4.1. Once you earn a Credential, to continue to use the Credential’s Name, ▇▇▇▇ and/or Digital Badge you must:
4.1.1. Continue to meet all Credential renewal requirements.
4.1.2. Continue to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
MAINTAINING CREDENTIALS. 1. BVEA unit members shall, as a condition of continued employment, maintain in full force and effect all credentials in good standing that they held at the time of their initial employment or that they earned during the course of District service. All such credentials shall be registered, upon completion, with the Personnel Office. The requirement of maintaining in full force and effect all credentials shall not prevent the unit member from exercising contractual rights to request transfer or reassignment under Article XVI of the collective bargaining agreement.
2. BVEA unit members may revoke or allow credentials to lapse, only if the guidelines listed below are adhered to:
a. The member has served six consecutive years in the Bear Valley Unified School District.
b. The Personnel Office is given a notice of “Intent to Revoke or Lapse” no later than October 1 of the academic year prior to the academic year of revocation of the credential.
c. When revoking a credential in a specific area, the unit member must still maintain a Multiple Subjects Credential or a Single Subjects Credential in the areas of math, science, social science or language arts.

MAINTAINING CREDENTIALS. 0601 It is the responsibility of the individual staff member to maintain her/his professional credentials, which now requires a periodic BCII/FBI criminal background check, and nothing herein should be read to imply any diminution or shift of that responsibility. It is in the mutual interest of the Board and the Association to assist certificated staff by raising their awareness of the requirements for maintaining credentials.
MAINTAINING CREDENTIALS. Once a Credential is granted, you are responsible for keeping your Credential valid. You must maintain your Credential status by completing, within the time frame specified by Avaya, all continuing Credential requirements that correspond with your specific level of Credential. If you do not complete the continuing Credential requirements in the time frame specified by Avaya, your Credential for that particular level will be revoked without further notice, and all rights pertaining (including the right to use the Avaya Credential ▇▇▇▇, as defined herein) to that Credential will terminate. Avaya may, as a condition to continued use of Avaya Credentials, at any time require you to execute a revised version of this Agreement.
