Minimum Competencies. Minimum competencies will be reviewed and defined each school year through joint decision. The process will be: A. A recommendation will be generated through discussion among all faculty members in a department (i.e. only those who teach in a specific discipline). B. The representative or chairperson of the department (note: if the faculty chairperson or representative does not represent the discipline, the senior member of that discipline will act in their place) will bring the recommendation forward for discussion with the designated administrator. C. The recommendation will be jointly agreed to by the department representative (as specified above) and the designated administrator. D. The final list will be approved by the Vice President and Chief Academic Officer and the Faculty Forum President. E. Minimum competencies will be defined in priority order by course. F. All faculty members must meet the minimum competencies for all courses they are scheduled to teach as defined in the aforementioned list agreed to by the Vice President and Chief Academic Officer and President of the Faculty Forum. 1. If minimum competencies are changed after a faculty member has already taught a class, a faculty member will be considered as meeting the minimum competencies for that class so long as they satisfy current external accreditation standards and have met both of the following criteria: 1) taught the class during the past five years and 2) taught the class after Summer 2018.
Minimum Competencies. Candidate demonstrates socio-cultural competence in practice at all systems levels, including assessment, intervention planning, service delivery, communication, and mediation of cultural conflicts in an effort to develop a positive, supportive learning environment that is culturally congruent with the needs of pupils and families.

If the Faculty Forum President or their designee wishes to look at the qualifications for Faculty members, they will file the request with the designated administrator, who will provide copies of the requested documentation within five (5) business days. When such a request is made, the Forum shall also send notification to Human Resources. The Forum’s request will in- clude the reason for the request and the specific documentation requested. The documentation provided to the Forum will be limited to documents related to faculty teaching qualifications, i.e., resume/experience, professional certificates, transcripts, vocational approval forms, and vocational justification forms.   • Cultural Competence 1. Grantee will make reasonable efforts to provide services that meet each client’s individual needs and takes into consideration the intellectual functioning, literacy, level of education and comprehension ability of each client in order to ensure that all information is presented in a way that meets each client’s individual needs. 2. Grantee will provide services in the client's primary language either directly by Grantee or by a DFPS approved translator. 3. Grantee will have a cultural competence mission statement, core values or other similar guidance that provides how the Grantee will effectively provide these services to clients of various cultures, races, ethnic backgrounds and religions in a manner that recognizes and affirms the client’s worth, protects and preserves the client’s dignity and ensures equity of service delivery.

  • Cultural Competency 1. All program staff shall receive at least one (1) in-service training per year on some aspect of providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall provide County with a schedule of in-service training(s) and a list of participants at each such training. 2. Contractor shall use good faith efforts to translate health-related materials in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall provide to County copies of Contractor’s health-related materials in English and as translated. 3. Contractor shall use good faith efforts to hire clinical staff members who can communicate with clients in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall submit to County the cultural composition and linguistic fluencies of Contractor’s staff.

  • Service Level Expectations Without limiting any other requirements of the Agreement, the Service Provider shall meet or exceed the following standards, policies, and guidelines:

  • MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY The State makes no commitment to purchase any minimum or maximum quantity, or dollar volume of products from the selected suppliers. Utilization of this agreement will be on an as needed basis by State Agencies and/or Cooperative Participants, Cities, Counties, Schools K-12, Colleges and Universities. The State will award to multiple suppliers; however, the State reserves the right to purchase like and similar products from other suppliers as necessary to meet operational requirements.

  • Minimum Order When the Government requires supplies or services covered by this contract in an amount of less than one each, the Government is not obligated to purchase, nor is the Contractor obligated to furnish those supplies or services under the contract.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Minimum Hours All employees shall be paid their regular hourly rate for each hour worked except where employed for less than four (4) consecutive hours per day, in which event they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay. An employee who is called for work and upon reporting finds that his or her services are not required shall receive two (2) hours pay.

  • Service Level In the event that League InfoSight discovers or is notified by you of the existence of Non-Scheduled Downtime, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to determine the source of the problem and attempt to resolve it as quickly as possible.

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD Section 1 Work Day For the applicable agreement period, the normal work day will be seven and one-quarter (7 ¼) hours including arrival time fifteen (15) minutes before and departure time (15) minutes after the students’ school day. The normal work day will include uninterrupted prep time. The Building Principal, as authorized by the Superintendent, upon request of a teacher or group of teachers, may waive the requirement to remain fifteen (15) minutes after the school day for a specific day or days. It is recognized; however, that the proper performance of their duties may, on occasion, require these persons to work longer than the normal work day, i.e. for conferences, faculty meetings, department meetings, etc. Therefore, “mandatory meetings will occur two times per month and be no longer than 90 minutes in length, inclusive of the additional 15 minutes beyond the scheduled student school day. A schedule of the meetings will be distributed by June 30th of the previous school year, but may be changed at the discretion of the Principal with 48 hours’ notice.” Teachers will also remain at school after the fifteen (15) minutes described above, during one (1) day each calendar week for such periods of time as is necessary to provide students extra help, and/or to meet with parents or guardians, concerning the progress of their children or wards. No teacher shall be required to work more than a normal seven and one- quarter (7 ¼) hour day, including fifteen (15) minutes before and (15) minutes after the students’ school day, which will include uninterrupted prep time; this provision does not apply to other contractually agreed upon time and meetings. Should state law require a longer instructional day, or more days, the teachers shall work the added time and the parties shall immediately commence impact bargaining on the issue. This article does not purport to cover the arrival and departure time of teachers involved in special assignments. Section 2 Other Personnel Personnel other than classroom teachers will work at their assigned tasks for the length of the regular teachers' work day. The exact daily schedule will be worked out on an individual basis between the Administration and the employee with notification to the Association. Instructional Coaches are required to work an additional five (5) days at their per diem rate, beyond the work year for a total of 189 days. These days will be determined prior to the start of the new school year and at the discretion of the Superintendent and the Chief Academic Officer.

  • Scope of Service Interconnection Service shall be provided to the Interconnection Customer at the Point of Interconnection (a), in the case of interconnection of the Customer Facility of a Generation Interconnection Customer, up to the Maximum Facility Output, and (b), in the case of interconnection of the Customer Facility of a Transmission Interconnection Customer, up to the Nominal Rated Capability. The location of the Point of Interconnection shall be mutually agreed by the Interconnected Entities, provided, however, that if the Interconnected Entities are unable to agree on the Point of Interconnection, the Transmission Provider shall determine the Point of Interconnection, provided that Transmission Provider shall not select a Point of Interconnection that would impose excessive costs on either of the Interconnected Entities and shall take material system reliability considerations into account in such selection. Specifications for the Customer Facility and the location of the Point of Interconnection shall be set forth in an appendix to the Interconnection Service Agreement and shall conform to those stated in the Facilities Study.
