MAJOR CONTRACT GOALS. The Department is contracting with the Managing Entity, pursuant to s. 394.9082, F.S., to plan, coordinate, and subcontract for the delivery of community mental health and substance abuse services; to improve access to care and promote service continuity; and to support efficient and effective delivery of services.

The major goals of this contract is to: Enhance Child Welfare trainer skills through the development and maintenance of a standardized statewide Child Welfare Trainer Proficiency Training Program. Through the implementation of this program, Child Welfare Trainers will receive standardized training to enhance their knowledge and skills when presenting the Child Welfare training curricula. With the development of a training and tracking system this contract will ensure that all trainers teaching Child Welfare curricula are qualified to teach, knowledgeable of the content and up to date with current laws, policies and practice. Maintain a sufficient pool of trained, skilled and qualified Child Welfare trainers through the establishment of the Trainer Proficiency Program tracking system.
