Mandatory Membership. All Bargaining Unit Employees shall become and remain members of the appropriate Constituent Union in accordance with that Union’s bylaws and constitution. Notwithstanding the foregoing, an Employee’s loss of membership in the appropriate Constituent Union shall not result in the termination of the Employee’s employment with the Employer.

Mandatory Membership. It shall be a condition of employment that all employees of the Company covered by this Agreement who are members of the Union in good standing on the effective date of this Agreement shall remain members in good standing and those who are not members on the effective date of this Agreement shall, on or before the 31st day following the effective date of this Agreement, become and remain members in good standing in the Union. Mandatory Membership. All employees subject to this Agreement who are not members of the Union on the effective day of the Agreement, and all employees subject to this Agreement who are hired at a time subsequent to the effective date of this Agreement, shall, as a condition of employment, join and maintain membership in the Union. Or, alternatively, exercise the right of non-association of public employees based on a bona fide religious tenets or teachings of a church or religious body of which public employee is a member by contributing the equivalent of the regular Union dues and initiation fee to a non-religious charity, or to another charitable organization mutually agreed upon by the employee affected and the bargaining representative to which such public employee would otherwise pay the dues and initiation fee. The public employee shall furnish written proof that such payment has been made. If the public employee and the bargaining representative do not reach agreement on such matter, the Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) shall designate the charitable organization. Employees who fail to comply shall be discharged.
Mandatory Membership. All Owners (excluding the Foundation, QWDC, QWH, any Qualified Builders or Qualified Developers and Non-Participating Members), and their successors-in-title, must acquire and maintain in good standing a Membership within one of the categories of Participating Membership for each Lot owned. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, an Owner of more than one (1) Lot, who combines the Lots so that only one (1) residence may be built thereon pursuant to an agreement acceptable to the Board, shall be required to maintain only one (1) Participating Membership for the combined Lots and may resign any additional Memberships, provided such Owner complies with the agreement approved by the Board. Thereafter, the applicable Owner shall pay the Assessments and Dues for one (1) Lot.
