Loss of Membership. For the purposes of this Section, an Employee shall not be deemed to have lost his membership in the Union in good standing until the International Treasurer of the Union shall have determined that the membership of such Employee in the Union is not in good standing and shall have given the Company a notice in writing of that fact.

Loss of Membership. Any member may at any time leave the Association. The resigning member is obliged to pay all due contributions as well as the contribution for the current year. The resignation is to be addressed to the president of the board of directors. Membership automatically ends when a member no longer meets the conditions stipulated in Articles 7 or 8. Members may be expelled in case of non-compliance with the Articles of Association, Internal Regulations or decisions of the bodies of the Association, or if they prejudice the Association’s interests by their conduct. The expulsion of a member can only be pronounced by the general assembly with a majority of two thirds of the members present or represented. The member will be informed by registered mail of the intention to expel it. The letter sets forth the grounds on which the proposed expulsion is based. The member has the right to notify its remarks in writing to the general assembly, within fifteen (15) calendar days subsequent to the receipt of the letter. Upon its prior written request, the member involved shall be heard. Resigning or expelled members lose all entitlement to the benefits of the Association and cannot claim refunding of contributions, nor can they exercise any right to the assets of the Association.
Loss of Membership. 6.1 If no resolution can be reached after the above actions, then the ERN eUROGEN Coordination Team will ask the ERN Strategic Board to vote on the termination of the HCP, requiring a qualified two-thirds majority of all members as per Article 19. If the Strategic Board votes for termination, the HCP will then lose membership, in accordance with the below process as stipulated in Article 12 of the EC’s ERN Implementing Decision 2014/287/EU): A Member of a Network may lose membership for any of the following reasons: voluntary withdrawal, according to the rules and procedures agreed by the Board of the Network; by decision of the Board of the Network, according to the rules and procedures agreed by the Board; if a Member State of establishment notifies to the Member of the Network that its participation in the Network no longer complies with national legislation; if the Member refuses to be evaluated pursuant to Article 14; if a negative evaluation report on the Member has been drawn up pursuant to Article 14; if the Network where the Member participates is terminated. The relevant Member State shall inform the Commission of the reasons for the notification referred to in paragraph 1(c). The Board of the Network shall inform the Commission in the cases referred to in point 1(a), (b) and (d). The loss of membership on the grounds listed in paragraph 1(e) must be approved by the BoMS as referred to in Article 6. In any case of loss of membership, the Commission shall verify whether the minimum numbers of HCPs and of Member States set out in Article 2(2) are still reached. If not, it shall ask the Network to find new Members within the next two years or terminate the Network, inform the BoMS of the situation and ask Member States to encourage their HCPs to join the Network. Loss of membership shall lead to the automatic loss of any of the rights and responsibilities associated with participation in the Network, including the right to use the logo.
