Maternity, Parental and Adoption Leave. 17.3.1 Employees shall be granted Maternity and Parental Leave in accordance with the Employment Standards Code, excepting that during the currency of the statutory Maternity Leave the Employer will maintain the employee's participation in the various fringe benefit and insurance plans in accordance with the provisions of the plan. During Parental Leave the employee shall have the option of maintaining, at her own expense (no premiums to be paid by the Employer), participation in the various fringe benefits and insurance plans in accordance with the provisions of the plan.
