Meal Periods. (a) Meal periods shall be between thirty (30) and sixty (60) minutes in length and subject to mutual agreement between the Employer's and the Union's designated representatives at the local level. (b) An Employee shall be entitled to take his/her meal period away from the work station. Where this cannot be done, the meal period shall be considered as time worked and compensated for subject to Article 15.6. (c) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday.
