MEAL PLAN PAYMENT. ▪ Review Appendix IV for the fee payment schedule ▪ If you are registered in the Winter Session, the first instalment of your Residence Meal Plan fees is due upon acceptance of this Contract. The second instalment of your Residence Meal Plan fees is due by September 22, 2023 and the third is due by January 12, 2024. ▪ Late payments will be subject to a $25 late payment fee, in addition to any other remedies UBC may have under this Contract or in law. ▪ Failure to pay the fees by or on the dates stipulated in this Contract may, in the University’s sole discretion, result in the denial of further meals and/or termination of this Contract and eviction from residence. ▪ Cheques that are returned “NSF” are subject to a bank charge of $35 and an administration charge of $35. Only certified cheques or bank drafts will be accepted after February 28, 2024.

MEAL PLAN PAYMENT. Payment for the meal plan may be made according to the payment schedules set forth by the Xxx Xxxxxxx State University Cashier’s Office (xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/dept/cashiers/). As described in the SHSU Catalogues, failure to meet financial obligations to the University may result in any or all of the following non-inclusive sanctions: dismissal from the University, withholding future registration privileges, withholding the issuance of an official transcript, withholding the conferring of a degree and/or barring re-admission. If amounts become past due, the University reserves the right to report the account to the Credit Bureau. This will also initiate collection efforts and could cause the University to employ an outside collection agency to recover the debt. If collection efforts must be made, the student will be required to pay all collection costs, including collection agency fees, legal fees, and other costs incurred in collection of the amount due.

  • Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.

  • Meal Plan The Student who resides in a university residence hall is required to purchase a full residential dining plan (commuter plans are not acceptable). The Student who resides in Bobcat Village may choose either a residential or a commuter plan, but is not obligated to make a dining plan purchase due to availability of kitchen in each apartment unit.

  • Vacation Pay Advance Where an Employee requests vacation pay in advance and provides fourteen (14) days written notice prior to the commencement of the vacation, vacation pay shall be provided to the Employee no later than her last scheduled working day prior to vacation.

  • Education Incentive Pay An employee shall be entitled to receive educational incentive pay as follows:

  • Sick Leave Payment Any employee, at his/her option may choose to receive payment for sick leave earned during the year which is unused at the end of the year. Any such payment must be for the total number of unused sick leave hours earned during the year, must be based on the hourly rate of pay of the employee multiplied by 50 percent, and all hours for which payment is received must be deducted from the employee’s accumulated leave balance. Sick leave used during a current year will be charged against the most recently earned sick leave. Hourly rate of pay is the hourly rate at the end of the contract year.

  • Travel Compensation The Contractor shall not be compensated or reimbursed for travel time, travel expenses, meals, or lodging.

  • Vacation Allowance Employees in permanent positions are entitled to vacation with pay. Accrual is based upon straight time hours of working time per calendar month of service and begins on the date of appointment to a permanent position. Increased accruals begin on the first of the month following the month in which the employee qualifies. Accrual for portions of a month shall be in minimum amounts of one (1) hour calculated on the same basis as for partial month compensation pursuant to Section 5.6 of this MOU. Vacation credits may be taken in one (1) minute increments but may not be taken during the first six (6) months of employment (not necessarily synonymous with probationary status) except where sick leave has been exhausted; and none shall be allowed in excess of actual accrual at the time vacation is taken.

  • Short-Term Plan Benefit (a) In the event an employee is unable to work because of illness or injury he/she will be entitled to a benefit of seventy-five percent (75%) of pay for a period not to exceed seven (7) months from date of absence, (Short Term Plan Period).

  • Severance Allowance A laid-off employee shall be entitled to severance allowance pursuant to Article 55.

  • Continuing Education Allowance (a) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who holds a continuing education qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration or enrolment, shall be paid an allowance subject to the conditions set out in this clause.
