Medical Release to Return to Work. For illnesses that last more than three (3) consecutive days, the employer may require a note from a medical authority, stating that the employee is fit to return to duty.

Medical Release to Return to Work. Employees on a leave of absence for a serious health condition which makes the employee unable to perform their job functions shall provide the Human Resources Department with a medical release to return to work. Employees on leave of absence for the serious health condition of a spouse, child or parent, if that individual has an illness which may be contagious, may also be required to provide the Human Resources Department with a medical release to return to work.
