Medical Transport Services. To the extent permitted by law and subject to the conditions, exclusions, and limitations of this Section 2.1.2, in the event a Traveling Member is Hospitalized or in need of Hospitalization, Company will provide and arrange all necessary and ordinary expenses for: (i) Field Rescue; (ii) air and/or surface transport to the hospital of choice located within the Member's Home Country; and/or (iii) Transport of Mortal Remains under 2.1.3 below (“Medical Transport Services”). IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR MEDICAL TRANSPORT SERVICES, THE TRAVELING MEMBER OR THEIR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE MUST CONTACT COMPANY AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT REQUIRING HOSPITALIZATION. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE OBLIGATED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TO REIMBURSE A MEMBER OR PAY ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ANY TRANSPORT COSTS WHICH HAVE BEEN ARRANGED BY THE MEMBER OR ON BEHALF OF THE MEMBER BY ANY THIRD PARTY.

Medical Transport Services. Choice. GR will provide, arrange and pay all necessary and ordinary expenses for transport to the Hospital of Choice of Traveling Member who is Hospitalized (“Medical Transport Services”). When Traveling Member is aboard the Ship, such Medical Transport Services will be from a Port of Call only. For clarity, Medical Transport Services are not provided when the Ship is at sea. If Traveling Member that receives Medical Transport Services does not require Hospitalization, Traveling Member shall reimburse GR for all costs of such Services. GR reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, the mode and timing of such transport. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Traveling Member acknowledges and agrees that if a Hospitalized Traveling Member is discharged, unless in connection with Medical Transport Services by GR for the purpose of Hospitalization in the Hospital of Choice, such Traveling Member shall not be eligible for Medical Transport Services. The foregoing Medical Transport Services are not applicable to an SEPM Member.

GR reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, the mode and timing of such transport. For Hospitalizations lasting 5 days or more, as soon as such Traveling Member has stabilized sufficiently to enable air travel via commercial coach or business class seat, GR shall provide, arrange and pay all necessary and ordinary expenses for transport of the Traveling Member to their Home Country. GR reserves the right to utilize any previously booked tickets associated with the Member’s return journey. IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR MEDICAL TRANSPORT SERVICES, THE TRAVELING MEMBER OR THEIR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE MUST CONTACT COMPANY AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT REQUIRING HOSPITALIZATION. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE OBLIGATED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TO REIMBURSE A MEMBER OR PAY ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ANY TRANSPORT COSTS WHICH HAVE BEEN ARRANGED BY THE MEMBER OR ON BEHALF OF THE MEMBER BY ANY THIRD PARTY.
Medical Transport Services. Tradewind does not provide transportation to passengers who must travel in/on a stretcher or infants who must travel in incubators or Infant Transport Systems.
Medical Transport Services. Covac Global medical transport services are available to any Member that qualifies for medical transport services in accordance with transport conditions, is in need of in-patient hospitalization (or appropriate treatment as an “out-patient”) at a facility providing treatment or services that may not be readily or reasonably available locally in the Location, and has been accepted for such in patient hospitalization by an admitting physician at an approved facility or has been referred to an “out-patient” facility by their treating physician. Covac Global does not provide medical transport for simple injuries that do not require in-patient hospitalization or physician- referred out-patient treatment immediately upon return home or transport to an approved facility by Covac Global. IT IS NOT REQUIRED THAT MEMBERS BE HOSPITALIZED IN CURRENT LOCATION TO QULIFIY FOR MEDICAL TRANSPORT SERIVCES. HOWEVER, MEMBER MUST BE 300 MILES FROM HOME.

COVAC GLOBAL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF ANY MEDICAL TREATMENT FOLLOWING EVACUATION.

OBS SHALL NOT BE OBLIGATED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TO REIMBURSE A MEMBER OR PAY ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ANY TRANSPORT COSTS WHICH HAVE BEEN ARRANGED BY THE MEMBER OR ON BEHALF OF THE MEMBER BY ANY THIRD PARTY. SERVICES RELATING TO SEARCH AND RESCUE OF MEMBERS ARE NOT INCLUDED.

Refusal to Transport‌ WESTERN shall have the right to refuse to transport or shall have the right to remove from the aircraft at any point, any passenger for the following reasons:

  • Medical Services Plan 10.1.1 Regular Full-Time and Temporary Full-Time Employees shall be entitled to be covered under the Medical Services Plan commencing the first day of the calendar month following the date of employment.
