Meetings, Conventions, and Seminars. Executive is encouraged to attend seminars, professional meetings and conventions, and educational courses that are reasonably related to Executive's employment with the Company. The cost of travel, tuition or registration, food, and lodging for attending those activities shall be paid by the Company. Other costs shall be paid by Executive, unless the Company authorizes those costs. If such other costs are authorized expenses, Executive shall be reimbursed after satisfying the Company's policies and procedures for such reimbursement.

Meetings, Conventions, and Seminars. Employee, as a condition of employment hereunder, may be required by Company to attend professional meetings, conventions or trade seminars. The expenses incurred by Employee in connection therewith such as travel, room, board and registration fees shall be borne by the Company in an amount not to exceed the sums as defined in the Company Personnel Manual.
Meetings, Conventions, and Seminars. The duties of District Superintendent require his participation and presence at meetings, conventions, and seminars in order that the District Superintendent can maintain an awareness of current issues, programs, and information. The District Superintendent’s attendance at meetings, conventions, seminars, workshops, in-service programs, school activities and graduate education, continuing education, and professional development programs is deemed necessary by the Board in order to maintain knowledge and skills required of the District Superintendent’s position. The Board considers such activities and the expenses involved in such activities, including attendance at such activities, to be directly related to the District Superintendent’s duties and appropriate for reimbursement.

If those other costs are authorized expenses, Sxxxxxxx will be reimbursed after satisfying SWEN’s policies and procedures for such reimbursement (which may include a requirement that Sxxxxxxx submit an itemized expense voucher).

  • Required Meetings or Hearings Whenever any employee is required to appear before the Superintendent or his designee, Board or any committee, member, representative or agent thereof concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of that employee in his office, position, or employment or the salary of any increments pertaining thereto, then he shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meetings or interview and shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise him and represent him during such meetings or interview.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.

  • Mandatory Meetings All residential students are required to attend the following building meetings. Time & locations will be communicated by the RAs through individual contact, emails and/or signs in the buildings. A $25 fee will be charged to any students who do not attend without an approved absence.   • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal. In the event of illness or Board-approved absence, the Superintendent's designee shall attend such meetings.
