Common use of Military Leave: Reserves Clause in Contracts

Military Leave: Reserves. 1. A bargaining unit member, who is a member of a reserve component of the Armed Forces of the United States and/or the State of Ohio, shall be granted leave of absence from his/her respective duties without loss of pay for such time as he/she is in the military service, or field training, for periods not to exceed thirty-one (31) days in any one (1) calendar year. The thirty-one (31) day maximum is regardless of whether called to active duty and/or supersedes O.R.C. 5923.05 for purposes of calculating pay due by the Board.
