MODIFIED WORK DAY. 25 a. A modified work day is a non-school day for students and they are not 26 in attendance. These are regular work days for classified employees. 27 However, employees in food service or instructional assistants who 28 provide direct services to students may be assigned alternative work 1 on these days. Classified employees wishing to be off on any of these 2 days may do so, with the approval of the supervisor, by using vacation 3 or other authorized leave.
