Multiple Worksites. When hiring a new employee to the bargaining unit, the new employee shall be advised that his/her assignment may (or will) include work at multiple worksites. When a unit member is required to start or end his/her work day at a worksite other than his/her normal worksite, written advance notice of the change shall be provided as follows depending on the length of the change (except in cases of emergency as determined by the District): 30+ days; 2 weeks notice

Multiple Worksites. When hiring a new employee to the bargaining unit, the new employee shall be advised that their assignment may (or will) include work at multiple worksites. When a unit member is required to start or end their work day at a worksite other than their normal worksite, written advance notice of the change shall be provided as follows depending on the length of the change (except in cases of emergency as determined by the District): • More than 30 days: two (2) week notice • 6 to 30 days: one (1) week notice • 1 to 5 days: one (1) day notice Employees required to start their day at a site other than their normal site shall be allowed a fifteen (15) minute grace period for no more than five (5) days. Employee shall be allowed to make up the grace period only on the same day it was taken. The District will explore the feasibility of implementing regional custodial crews that will include work at multiple worksites. If implemented, employees will report to a central location and will be dispatched daily to different location(s), as it may be required to meet the operational needs of the District.
Multiple Worksites. If the job oppor- tunity involves multiple worksites within an area of intended employment and different prevailing wage rates exist for the oppor- tunity within the area of intended employ- ment, the prevailing wage is the highest ap- plicable wage among all the worksites.

  • Multiple Bedroom Spaces If this Housing Agreement expressly identifies more than one bedroom space in a multi-bedroom apartment as assigned to Resident on page 1, then: (a) references to a “space” or “spaces” will be deemed to refer to all of the spaces assigned to Resident, or to the entire apartment if all of the bedrooms in an apartment are assigned to Resident; and (b) if Resident is assigned fewer than all of the bedroom spaces in an apartment, use of common areas will continue to be shared with other residents of the apartment and any calculation of Resident’s share of any charges assessed pro rata to all residents of an apartment will be made by dividing the number of bedroom spaces assigned to Resident by the total number of occupied bedroom spaces within the apartment.

  • Outside Work All work necessary to the assembling, installation, erection, operation, maintenance, repair, control, in- spection and supervision of all electrical apparatus, devices, wires, cables, supports, insulators, conduc- tors, ducts and raceways when part of distributing systems outside of buildings, railroads and outside the directly related railroad property and yards. In- stalling and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property, and bonding of rails. All underground ducts and cables when they are in- stalled by and are part of the system of a distrib- uting company, except in power stations during new construction, including ducts and cables to adjacent switch racks or substations. All outdoor substations and electrical connections up to and including the setting of transformers and the connecting of the secondary buses thereto. Outside work to include renewable electrical energy sources such as solar photovoltaic, geothermal, wind, biomass, wave, etc., and other distributed en- ergy installations such as fuel cells, microturbines, etc.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.   • Safe Workplace A) The Employer and employees recognize the need for a safe and healthful workplace and agree to take appropriate measures in order that risks of accidents and/or occupational disease are reduced and/or eliminated. Employers will take all reasonable steps to eliminate, reduce and/or minimize threats to the safety of employees.

  • Faculty Workload The workload of faculty includes student advising, maintaining and improving expertise in a discipline and in pedagogy, serving on departmental and university committees, contributing to student growth and development, evaluating student performance, scholarly activities, and service to university and community, as well as teaching and class preparation. Additionally, as a professional, a faculty member shall devote a substantial amount of his/her workload to course preparation, research, the maintenance of professional expertise, innovations in teaching/learning and other similar activities. These endeavors shall comprise the faculty member’s workload.

  • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.
