Mutual consultation and cooperation. When appropriate, the Parties shall exchange views on relevant policy issues within their respective competence and shall consult regularly with each other on matters of common interest, such as One Health related topics and activities, with a view to achieving their objectives and coordinating their positions and activities. This will include the following illustrative list of topics and activities of mutual interest: − Zoonotic diseases − Emerging infectious diseases and disease surveillance − Antimicrobial resistance − Wildlife Health − Food safety − Economics of animal health and contribution of animal health to SDGs − Impact of the strengthening of animal health systems in a One Health context Other areas of cooperation or activities may be identified and jointly agreed upon by the Parties during the implementation of this MoU. Within the context defined above, meetings will be encouraged and convened on an ad hoc basis as deemed necessary by the Parties to address priority matters of common interest, discuss technical and operational issues and review progress of work undertaken by the Parties related to further the objectives of this MoU.

Mutual consultation and cooperation. When appropriate, WOAH and the CITES Secretariat agree to exchange views on relevant policy issues within their respective competence and to consult with each other on matters of common interest, such as animal health and welfare standards and guidelines for safe legal international trade and transport of wild animals. This will include the following illustrative, but not limitative, list of topics and activities of mutual interest: - Safe, traceable and legal international trade of wildlife; - Identifying zoonotic disease risk associated with CITES activities and CITES listed species; - Welfare of live wild animals during their transport for the international trade; - Safe and fast transport of biological samples from wild animals for diagnosis or identification; - Prevention and control of invasive (non-native) alien animal species; and - The combating of illegal trade in wildlife. Other areas of cooperation or activities may be identified and jointly agreed upon by the Parties during the implementation of this MoU.

  • Mutual Cooperation In any contest of a tax or fee by one Party, the other Party shall cooperate fully by providing records, testimony and such additional information or assistance as may reasonably be necessary to pursue the contest. Further, the other Party shall be reimbursed for any reasonable and necessary out- of-pocket copying and travel expenses incurred in assisting in such contest.
