Basis for Layoff A. The reasons for layoffs include, but are not limited to, the following:

LAYOFFS AND RECALLS 17.01 Both parties recognize that job security should increase in proportion to length of service. Therefore, in the event of a layoff, employees shall be laid off in the reverse order of seniority. Employees shall be recalled in order of their seniority providing they are qualified to do the work.
VACANCIES AND NEW POSITIONS 17.01 The Gallery shall post notice of permanent and temporary job vacancies subject to Article 4 – Temporary Full-Time Employees for a period of seven (7) calendar days before any such job is filled. Probationary employees shall not be entitled to apply for posted vacancies. It is agreed that the Gallery will not interview external applicants until applications from existing employees have been reviewed and bargaining unit employees who are qualified in the opinion of the Gallery have been interviewed. Further, the Gallery will notify existing applicants in writing once the successful application is selected.
Reasons for Layoff Layoff shall occur only for lack of work or lack of funds.
LAYOFFS AND RECALL 9 (1) Layoffs shall be made within classification on a county wide basis in the inverse 10 order of total county seniority. Employees on emergency or temporary 11 appointment in the affected classification shall be laid off prior to the layoff of
Grievance on Layoffs and Recalls Grievances concerning layoffs and recalls shall be initiated at Step 2 of the grievance procedure.
Transportation of Students Employees will not be required to transport students.
Convicted and Discriminatory Vendor Lists In accordance with sections 287.133 and 287.134, F.S., an entity or affiliate who is on the Convicted Vendor List or the Discriminatory Vendor List may not perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under the Contract. The Contractor must notify the Department if it or any of its suppliers, subcontractors or consultants have been placed on the Convicted Vendor List or the Discriminatory Vendor List during the term of the Contract.
MEMBERS OF DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS AND CONSULAR POSTS Nothing in this Agreement shall affect the fiscal privileges of members of diplomatic missions or consular posts under the general rules of international law or under the provisions of special agreements.
