Common use of New Employees Clause in Contracts

New Employees. At the time of hire, the Employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment as set out in the Articles dealing with Union Recognition, Security, Rights and Activities. The Employer further agrees to provide new employees with copies of the Collective Agreement and the names of the stewards. A xxxxxxx shall be advised of the date, time and place of orientation sessions for new employees in order that a xxxxxxx shall be given a reasonable opportunity to talk to new employees.
