New Teachers. a. Final settlement of salary in the case of newly appointed teachers shall be dependent upon satisfactory evidence verifying certification and experience being submitted to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board by November 30th. The commencing salary paid will be according to verified certification and experience. Should the Teacher Qualification Service verify a higher certification the salary will be adjusted retroactive to the beginning of the school year. The Board shall not refuse a reasonable request for extension of the time limits. b. In the case of teachers newly appointed to the District from other districts, their report records in other districts shall count as part of their report record here, to the extent ascertainable. Such teachers shall be placed on the scale as follows:
