Common use of Night Differential Clause in Contracts

Night Differential. Employees shall receive a night differential equal to ten percent (10%) of the employee's basic wage rate for all time actually worked between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. A night differential shall not be paid when an employee works during the night differential time period as a result of the employee's request to change his or her scheduled hours.
