Non-Sworn Employee Wages. The baseline hourly rate for all non- sworn employees will be their hourly rate as of 12/31/2019. Effective 1/1/2020 all non-sworn employees will receive a 2.0% general increase to their baseline rate. Effective 1/1/21 all non-sworn employees will receive a 1.0% general increase. Minimum and Maximum rates will be increased by 1%, effective 1/1/21. Effective 1/1/22 all non-sworn employees will receive a 1.0% general increase. Minimum and Maximum rates will be increased by 1%, effective 1/1/22. Wage negotiations for calendar year 2023 will be reopened July 1, 2022. Wage increases will be limited to those specified in this Agreement for the duration of the Agreement.   • An Employee (other than a casual employee) required to attend for jury service during ordinary working hours will be reimbursed by the Company an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of the employee’s attendance for such jury service and the amount of wage the employee would have received in respect of the ordinary time the employee would have worked had the employee not been on jury service.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime.
