NORMS OF QUALITY CONTROL. ▪ All weld joints shall be subjected to external examination to detect weld defects. ▪ The quality norms with acceptance limits for external examination of piping are as per ASME. ▪ All the SS Butt Weld joints shall be subjected to 100% X- ray examination. CS Butt Weld joints shall be subjected to 10% X-ray examination. Such weld joints will be identified for test by the inspection personnel of the Department. ▪ Radiography examination of the weld joints shall be done only after elimination of defects detected by the external inspection. - The heat affected zone adjacent to the weld joint for a minimum of 20 mm on either side of the weld shall also be subjected to inspection. - The inspection of the weld joints shall be performed for the complete length using magnifying glass with a minimum of 4 times magnification. The weld joint shall also be inspected internally wherever it is accessible. - The quality norms with acceptance limits for external examination of piping is given in Table – 6 - Radiography examination of the weld joints shall be done only after elimination of defects detected by the external inspection. - There are three categories of weld joints in system as given below; ▪ Weld category - I ▪ Weld category – II ▪ Weld category - III The weld joints of category-I are to meet stringent quality standard because these joints are subjected to service conditions such as low temperature, high operating pressure, flammable & explosive fluid media, high dynamic loads etc. The weld joints of category- II are subjected to service conditions such as operating pressure, vacuum, low temperature, dynamic loads etc. The weld joints not included in these two categories are related to the III category. Generally welding of supports, structural welding is falling in the III category. - The following weld joints shall be subjected to 100% X-ray examination. ▪ Weld joints of category – I. ▪ Butt weld joints with operating pressure more than 100 bar. - All butt welds of category II shall be subjected to 10% X-ray examination. Such weld joints will be identified for test by the inspection personnel of the Department. - The detected defects in piping shall conform to the acceptable quality norms specified in Table – 7 ▪ The cumulative length of allowable defects shall not exceed 30% of total weld length, otherwise the weld joint will be rejected in full and the same joint has to be welded again. ▪ For those weld joints which are inaccessible for examination by X-ra...

  • Quality Control A. Controlled Affiliate agrees to use the Licensed Marks and Name only in connection with the licensed services and further agrees to be bound by the conditions regarding quality control shown in attached Exhibit A as they may be amended by BCBSA from time-to-time.

  • Use; Quality Control a. Neither party may alter the other party’s trademarks from the form provided and must comply with removal requests as to specific uses of its trademarks or logos.

  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control Contractor shall establish and maintain a quality assurance/quality control program which shall include procedures for continuous control of all construction and comprehensive inspection and testing of all items of Work, including any Work performed by Subcontractors, so as to ensure complete conformance to the Contract with respect to materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, and identification. The program established by Contractor shall comply with any quality assurance/quality control requirements incorporated in the Contract.

  • Quality control system (i) The Contractor shall establish a quality control mechanism to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Agreement (the “Quality Assurance Plan” or “QAP”).

  • Data Quality 4.1 Each party ensures that the shared Personal Data is accurate.

  • Commodity Compliance and Compatibility It is the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure that the Commodities supplied are compliant with the Contract requirements, specifications, terms, and conditions. Additionally, the Contractor shall ensure that all Commodities ordered by the Customer are fully compatible with each other and with any associated pre-existing Commodity possessed by the Customer and disclosed to the Contractor by the Customer. The Contractor’s acceptance of the Customer’s order shall indicate that the Contractor agrees to deliver a Commodity that is fully compliant and compatible with the Customer’s order requirements, specifications, terms, and conditions. In the event any ordered Base Equipment, OEM and Non-OEM Option(s), Part(s), Accessory(ies), and Implement(s); and their respective features, equipment, and components are found by the Customer to be missing, incorrect, defective, damaged, non- compatible, or non-compliant, the Contractor shall, at the Customer’s discretion, be required to complete one of the following: • Install or repair the Base Equipment, OEM and Non-OEM Option(s), Part(s), Accessory(ies), and Implement(s), and their respective features, equipment, and components; • Replace the Base Equipment, OEM and Non-OEM Option(s), Part(s), Accessory(ies), and Implement(s); and their respective features, equipment, and components; • Refund the purchase price of the Base Equipment, OEM and Non-OEM Option(s), Part(s), Accessory(ies), and Implement(s); and their respective features, equipment, and components to the Customer. Any changes necessary after the delivery of the Customer’s order that are required to bring a Commodity into compliance or compatibility due to an incorrect order fulfillment by the Contractor shall be accomplished at the Contractor’s expense.

  • Quality Control Program The Contractor shall describe the Quality Control Program in a written document which shall be reviewed by the Engineer prior to the start of any production, construction, or off-site fabrication. The written Quality Control Program shall be submitted to the Engineer for review at least ten (10) calendar days before the start of construction. The Quality Control Program shall be organized to address, as a minimum, the following items:

  • EMHS Governance, Safety and Quality Requirements 4.1 Participates in the maintenance of a safe work environment.

  • SMHS Governance, Safety and Quality Requirements 4.1 Participates in the maintenance of a safe work environment.
