Not Employment. This Agreement is not an employment agreement as I am an independent consultant. I understand that the Company may terminate my association with it at any time, with or without cause, subject to the terms of any separate written consulting agreement executed by a duly authorized officer of the Company.

Not Employment. I understand that this Agreement does not constitute a contract of employment or obligate the Company to engage me for any stated period of time. Unless otherwise specified, I understand that any employment agreement I have is not with Company, and that Company may terminate my engagement with it at any time and for any reason or no reason. I acknowledge that any statements or representations to the contrary are ineffective, unless put into a writing signed by a duly authorized representative of the Company.
Not Employment. This is not an employment agreement. The Executive recognizes and agrees that his or her employment with the Company is at will and can be terminated at any time by the Company, with or without cause. This Agreement does not vest in the Executive any rights to employment whatsoever, and makes no promise of continued employment.

  • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.

  • Re-employment An employee who resigns their position and within 90 days is re-employed, will be granted a leave of absence without pay covering those days absent and will retain all previous rights in relation to seniority and benefits subject to any benefit plan eligibility requirements.

  • Not Employment Contract The Employee acknowledges that this Agreement does not constitute a contract of employment, does not imply that the Company will continue his/her employment for any period of time and does not change the at-will nature of his/her employment.

  • Fixed Term Employment (1) An employee and an employer may agree that the employment of the employee will end: (a) At the close of a specified date or period; or (b) On the occurrence of a specified event; or (c) At the conclusion of a specified project.   • Permanent Employment (FULL - TIME & PART-TIME)

  • Subsequent Employment Those teachers whose employment commences after the start of the school year shall pay a pro-rated amount equal to the percentage of the remaining school year.

  • Separation of Employment (a) If an employee is discharged he shall be paid in full for all monies owing him on the date of his discharge. If an employee quits the Employer may withhold payment for five (5) calendar days. (b) The Employer shall give a Record of Employment Certificate to any employee who separates from employment for at least seven (7) days for any reason within five (5) days of the last day worked, or terminates.

  • Project Employment A. Permanent project employees have layoff rights. Options will be determined using the procedure outlined in Sections 35.9 and 35.10, above. B. Permanent status employees who left regular classified positions to accept project employment without a break in service have layoff rights within the Employer in which they held permanent status to the job classification they held immediately prior to accepting project employment.
