Notification and Split Sampling. The MRO will notify each employee who has a verified positive test that the employee has seventy-two (72) hours within which to request a test of the split specimen. If the employee requests an analysis of the split specimen, the MRO will direct the laboratory, in writing, to ship the split specimen to another DHHS laboratory for analysis. An employee may also request an analysis of the split specimen for any specimen deemed to have been adulterated or substituted. If the analysis of the split specimen fails to confirm the presence of the drug(s), drug metabolite(s), or evidence of adulteration or substitution, found in the primary specimen, or if the split specimen is unavailable or inadequate for testing, the MRO will cancel the test and report the cancellation and the reasons for it to the DOT, the employer, and the employee. If the employee has not contacted the MRO within seventy-two (72) hours of being notified of a verified positive drug test or evidence of adulteration or substitution, the employee may present to the MRO information documenting that serious illness, injury, inability to contact the MRO, lack of actual notice of the verified positive test or evidence of adulteration or substitution, or other unavoidable circumstances that prevented the employee from contacting the MRO in time. If the MRO concludes that there is a legitimate explanation for the employee’s failure to contact the MRO, the MRO will direct that an analysis of the split sample be performed. If the MRO concludes that there is no legitimate explanation, the MRO is not required to direct the analysis of the split specimen. If, after the MRO makes all reasonable efforts (and documents them), the MRO is unable to reach the individual directly, the MRO will contact a designated Pace representative who will direct the employee to contact the MRO as soon as possible. If, after making all reasonable efforts, the designated Pace representative is unable to contact the employee, Pace may place the employee on temporary unqualified status or medical leave. The MRO will report each verified test result to the person designated by Pace to receive the results. Reporting of a verified positive result or taking action required as a result of a positive drug test will not be delayed pending the split sampling analysis.   • Submission and Approval The Contractor’s Submittals must comply with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall review and approve all Submittals prior to submission. The Contract Documents shall specify when shop drawings or submittals require the seal of a specialty consultant. The Contractor shall submit copies of Submittals as required by the Contract Documents for the Work of the various trades. The Design Professional shall review, approve, or take other appropriate action with respect to shop drawings, samples, or other submissions of the Contractor, including, but not limited to, confirming conformance with the design concept of the Project and with the Contract Documents. The Design Professional shall respond to and return said items to the Contractor within fourteen calendar days from receipt provided that the Submittals are submitted by the Contractor in accordance with the required Submittal schedule. The Design Professional shall review and give comment or approval to Submittal schedule within fourteen calendar days from receipt. Large submittal documents may require longer review times, e.g., submittals with over fifty sheets of drawings. If, because of events beyond its reasonable control, the Design Professional is not able to meet the specified time period, then it is entitled to ask for additional time from the Owner. The Contractor shall make all corrections required by the Design Professional and furnish such corrected copies as may be needed. If the Contractor believes that any corrections required by the Design Professional constitute a change to the contract, the Contractor shall immediately notify the Design Professional and Owner and request instructions. By forwarding the approved Submittals to the Design Professional, the Contractor represents that the Contractor has determined and verified materials, field measurements, and field construction criteria related thereto, or will do so, and has checked and coordinated the information contained within such Submittals with the requirements of the Work and of the Contract Documents. The Design Professional’s approval of Submittals shall not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility for errors of any sort in Submittals or schedules. The Contractor shall perform no portion of the Work for which the Contract Documents require Submittals until the Design Professional has approved the respective Submittal. The Contractor shall maintain at the Site one copy of all approved Submittals.

  • Inspection and Approval All works embracing more than one process shall be subject to examination and approval at each stage thereof and the Contractor shall given due notice to the Engineer-in-Charge or his authorized representative when each stage is ready. In default of such notice the Engineer-in- Charge shall be entitled to appraise the quality and extent thereof.

  • Search, Enquiry, Investigation, Examination And Verification a.   • Review and Approval Documents specified above must be submitted for review and approval by CITY Purchasing and Contracts prior to the commencement of work by CONTRACTOR. Neither approval by CITY nor failure to disapprove the insurance furnished by CONTRACTOR shall relieve CONTRACTOR of CONTRACTOR’S full responsibility to provide the insurance required by this Contract. The Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected and the wind plant Developer shall determine what SCADA information is essential for the proposed wind plant, taking into account the size of the plant and its characteristics, location, and importance in maintaining generation resource adequacy and transmission system reliability in its area.
