Drug Tests Sample Clauses

Drug TestsDrug testing will be performed through urinalysis and screened in accordance with the requirements of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation program with the City of Fostoria. An employee must present picture identification at Fostoria Community Hospital. Urine specimens will be submitted to a Department of Health and Human Services (DBES) certified laboratory for testing. All urinalysis tests for drugs will use the “split samplemethod of collection. The employee’s urine sample will be split into two specimen bottles. One will contain the primary specimen and the other the split specimen. The split specimen will be preserved under stringent laboratory conditions. Whenever an employee receives notification of a positive drug test, the employee may request that the split sample be tested in a different DHHS certified laboratory. This request must be made within seventy-two (72) hours after the employee received notification of the positive drug test. All laboratory results will be reported by the laboratory to the Medical Review Officer (MRO) designated by the Safety-Service Director. Before reporting a positive test result to the Safety- Service Director, the MRO will attempt to contact the employee to discuss the test result. If the MRO is unable to contact the employee directly, the MRO will contact the Safety-Service Director’s Confidential Contact, designated in advance by the Director, who shall in turn contact the employee and direct the employee to contact the MRO immediately. In the MRO’s sole discretion, a determination will be made as to whether a result is positive or negative. Pursuant to USDOT regulations, individual test results for applicants and employees will be released to the Safety-Service Director and will be kept strictly confidential unless consent for the release of the test results has been obtained.
Drug TestsThe District will utilize testing procedures with scientifically valid protocols and that meet the certification criteria of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), formerly known as the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA). The only approved drug tests are urinalysis samples analyzed by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services-certified laboratories. The District and the laboratories utilized are compliant with 49 CFR, Part 40, Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs. a. All urine samples will be subjected to an initial screening utilizing an immunoassay technique. b. Specimens with negative test results following the initial screening will be reported to our Medical Review Officer (MRO) as negative tests. The initial screening test is designed to eliminate negative tests from any further consideration. The MRO will, in turn, report those tests to us as negative screening tests. Specimens with positive test results following the initial screening will be subjected to a laboratory-administered analytical procedure to identify the presence of a specific drug or metabolite. (i) This confirmatory test must by definition, be independent from the screening test. (ii) To ensure reliability and accuracy, the confirmatory test must use a technique and chemical principal different from the screening test. d. Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) is the only authorized confirmation method for cocaine, marijuana, opiates, amphetamines and phencyclidine. e. Protested positive test results allow the employee or applicant to submit a split sample portion of the original specimen required by Federal regulations immediately, and without prior notice, for testing. (i) If the split-sample urine drug screen test is requested, the applicant will pay for the test. (ii) If the split sample’s test’s results overturn a first test positive, the test will be reported as a negative and a copy of the second test results, and only the second test’s results, will be placed in the employee’s driver’s or personnel file and a copy provided to the employee or applicant.
Drug Tests. No driver shall be on duty and possess, be under the influence of, or use any of the drugs, including, but not limited to those listed below. Drug tests will be conducted on urine specimens, which will be analyzed for the following drugs: 1. Marijuana 4. Opiates (including heroin) 2. Cocaine/crack 5. Phencyclidines (PCP) 3. Amphetamines 6. Any controlled substance
Drug Tests. A. The Board will designate the provider of the test and will have all costs direct billed to the Board Office. B. If a driver fails a drug test and then passes the re-testing within one week of the results of the first test, the District will pay for both tests. The intent of this section is to indemnify drivers against false or inaccurate readings of drug screens by the lab/physicians. C. It is the driver’s responsibility to hold a valid Bus Driver’s permit at all times. Failure to maintain a valid permit is cause for dismissal.
Drug TestsThe State reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to conduct drug test(s) on individuals prior to or during the term of this Contract.
Drug Tests. Perform periodic chemical tests as defined in the "Colorado ----------- Community Corrections Standards" at times that cannot be predicted by the offender to determine the use of drugs by offenders in the Contractor's residential and non-residential program.
Drug TestsAn employee who tests positive for drugs will be subject to the following consequences: 1) On the first occasion of a positive drug test, the employee: (i) may be suspended from work without pay with a suspension of a maximum of two (2) weeks; (ii) will be warned that a second positive test may result in a suspension of up to four (4) weeks and a third positive test may result in dismissal; (iii) shall be evaluated by a Substance Abuse Professional ("SAP"); (iv) will be restricted from driving, working on a vehicle or performing other safety sensitive functions until she/he is evaluated by a SAP and tests negative on a drug test; and (v) will be subject to unannounced testing as required by law but not to exceed two years. 2) On the second occasion of a positive drug test, the employee: (i) may be suspended without pay for up to four (4) weeks; (ii) will be warned that she/he may be dismissed should she/he have a third positive drug test; (iii) shall be evaluated by a (SAP); will be restricted from driving, working on a vehicle, or performing other safety sensitive functions until she/he is evaluated by an SAP and tests "negative" on a test; and (v) will be subject to unannounced testing as required by law but not to exceed two years. 3) On the third occasion of a positive drug test, the employee may be dismissed. 4) Employees who do not produce a urine specimen of at least 45 ml will be directed to consume up to 40 ounces of liquid over a three hour period. Employees who are still unable to produce an adequate specimen will be referred to a company designated physician to evaluate whether such inability is medically related.
Drug Tests. The Subcontractor shall Perform periodic chemical tests as defined in the "Colorado Community Corrections Standards" at times that cannot be predicted by the offender to determine the use of drugs by offenders in the Subcontractor's residential and non-residential program.
Drug Tests. Tests for prohibited drugs, in accordance with Federal Regulations, shall be conducted only by urinalysis or blood sample and shall be performed only by laboratories certified under the National Laboratory Certification Program (NLCP).
Drug Tests. You are subject to random UAs/mouthswabs. If your chemical dependency counselor and/or caseworker reports that you have had a positive drug screening result or that you are out of compliance with your treatment recommendations, you may be dismissed from the house immediately. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE home and program. a. If you refuse a mouth swab drug test, you are permitted to seek a urine sample through Valley Drug Testing b. If you refuse any forms of drug testing, your test is presumptive positive for all substances.
