Notification of Federal Participation. To the extent required by law, in the announcement of any third party contract award for goods or services (including construction services) having an aggregate value of $500,000 or more, the CONTRACTOR agrees to specify the amount of Federal assistance intended to be used to finance that acquisition and to express that amount of that Federal assistance as a percentage of the total cost of that third party contract.
Notification of Federal Participation. The recipient agrees that FTA will provide Federal assistance for the project equal to the smallest of the following amounts: (a) the maximum amount permitted by Federal law or regulations, (b) the “Maximum FTA Amounted Approved,” set forth in the Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement for the Project, or (c) the amount calculated in accordance with the Maximum Percentage(s) of FTA Participation,” as may be modified by the Conditions of Award or other Special Conditions, Special Requirements, or Special Provisions of the Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement for the Project. FTA’s responsibility to make Federal assistance payments is limited to the amounts listed in the Approved Project Budget for the Project. The “Estimated Total Eligible Cost” in the Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement for the Project is the basis on which FTA determines the “Maximum FTA Amount Awarded.”

Federal requirements that apply to this Agreement may change due to changes in federal law, regulation, other requirements, or guidance including any information incorporated by reference and made part of that Underlying Agreement. Applicable changes to those federal requirements will apply to the parties and any subcontractor at any tier.

Contractor agrees to provide notification to PSTA specifying the amount of Federal assistance intended to be used to finance the acquisition of goods or services (including construction services) having an aggregate value of $500,000 or more, and to express the amount of that Federal assistance as a percentage of the total cost of the Contract.
Notification of Federal Participation. To the extent required by Federal law, the State of North Carolina agrees that, in administering any Federal assistance Program or Project supported by the underlying Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement, any request for proposals, solicitation, grant application, form, notification, press release, or other publication involving the distribution of FTA assistance for the Program or the Project that it will identify the FTA grant source by listing the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Number of the program. The following FTA grant programs will be eligible to participate in this bid, 20.505, 20.507, 20.500, 20.513, 20.509, 20.516, 20.519, 20.521, 20.525, and 20.526. Federal funding assistance up to eighty (80%) percent may be provided.

To the extent required by law, the State agrees that any request for proposals, solicitation, award notice, press release or other publication involving the distribution of FTA assistance for the Program or Project having an aggregate value of $500,000 or more, shall indicate that FTA is the Federal agency that is providing the Federal assistance, the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Number of the program from which the Federal assistance is authorized, as may be applicable, and the amount of Federal assistance FTA provided.
