Common use of Notification of Union Coverage Clause in Contracts

When a person is hired in any classification covered by a bargaining unit represented by the Union, the County shall notify that person that the Union is the recognized bargaining representative for the employees in said unit and present that person with a Union letter, return envelope and a copy of the current Memorandum of Understanding.
